Samsung is not the least expensive SSD on the market, but they have the best controller for the money and therefore the best longevity for your hard earned dollars. I have three other Samsung SSDs (240 EVOs) and they are still going strong. So when I decided to add capacity, there was no doubt which SSD I was going with.

Drive seems to be faster at running engineering programs than standard hard drives. I will need to spend more time with this unit. Installation and use were found to be easy and clearcut.

This SSD is one of my go to devices. If I need reliable storage with a little more performance kick to it then I get one of these. I have retro fitted several laptops with these.

I have had my 500GB 850 EVO since about two weeks ago. The read and write speeds are great, I've never seen anything like them. I would never go back to a mechanical hard drive as my boot drive ever again. Once you make the switch, you will never want to go back. Overall, I highly recommend the Samsung 850 EVO.

I added this SSD to my system and reinstalled Windows 10 and a couple Steam games, while keeping everything else on my HDD. MY overall system speed is now crazy fast, and the games I moved to the SSD have never ran/preformed better. This is the best SSD you can buy on the market, highly recommended

Unfortunately my original hard drive crashed. Replaced with with this Samsung - 850 EVO 500GB Internal Serial ATA Solid State Drive. It was quick and easy to change and now my MacBook Pro wakes up, turns on, and opens files very quickly.

You won't get more bang for your buck in any other upgrade like you will from a SSD. Samsung makes the best and most reliable drives in my opinion. I bought 2 of these to upgrade my not very savvy father-in-law's Laptops. He was thrilled with the speed increase and over all experience when using them. No complaints.

I bought this for my PC as an extra game drive and it has served its purpose for several months now. I read some reviews talking about slowdown but I haven't experienced any. I would highly recommend.

Very good SSDd drive comes with its own software to transfer. I used another product but drive cloned well. (DId have to add the device.) Now sub 10 second boot. Would buy again. .

My hard drive crashed in my Macbook pro. Apple said it is a vintage mac so they couldn't help me fix my 2011 mac. Got this and easily did it myself. Now working great.

The Samsung 850 EVO series are pretty legendary. If you look up any reviews they are almost always positive. Certainly one of the most used and trusted models of SSD hard drives is out there. It's the only one I would ever use for my systems. SSD's are one of the best bang for the buck upgrades you can do.
