Having used both 850 Evo and 960 Pro Samsung drives in my desktop and laptops, I am clearly a fan. The reliability of the 850 Evo and the benchmark read/write speeds it has, though not in the range of the Pro, are far above any HDD and more than enough for nearly any SSD user on the market.

I expected a new laptop to come with a fast HD. Not! My guru recommended replacing it with a SSD. He knew what he was talking about.

I dual boot Win 7 and Win 10. My ssd is on win7. Samsung migration tool copied my win7 64gb ssd to my new samsung ssd perfectly. Note: I did have to repair the Win 10 boot so it is handy to have a win10 disk available. You may also need to change boot device order in bios to access the cd.

I bought this hard drive for my daughter's MacBook. It was easy to install. All of the existing hardware matched up nicely with the new solid state hard drive.

With the prices being steep right now the quality of the samsung 850 evo was excellent ive had the device for 6 months now with no problems what so ever.

Bought this after looking at reviews online for SSDs. Had an option to go with Sandisk which were cheaper. But the reliability with a 5 year warranty made me choose this.

I have upgraded 2 of my older laptops with the EVO 256GB, so when I got my new laptop, I decided to upgrade the size to 500 so I don't have to move files off as much. The software makes it super easy to clone the existing drive and installation was cake. A great sized drive.

I love the simplicity of it. The black color that goes well for any glass case you wanna show off. Overall I wanna say is that using this instead of a hard drive I need a bigger one because I use iI use it up so fast. Highly recommend getting the biggest one you can afford.

A Solid State Drive (SSD) upgrade gives you the most "bang for your buck" today. This drive comes with the software you need to transfer your old OS and files from your old drive, but you may need a USB to SATA adapter if your PC doesn't have an internal connection for a 2nd drive.

Own a wired bose noise cancelling headset that I have had for about 5 years now. The freedom of wireless is great. Linked to my iPad and iPhone allows me to listen to music, have phone conversations and the noise cancellation has improved dramatically from my wired set.

Wanted to upgrade my Dell Inspirion from 256gb SSD to 512gb. They were a great help in finding the propoer device for the upgrade. They then did the installation very quickly and copied all my old files onto the new disc. Great job at a reasonable price.

Wife and I both upgraded both our laptops to Windows 10 and Samsung's newest solid state drives. Wife was very pleased with the increased processing speed of the Samsung drive. The upgrades made my wife feel like she has a brand new laptop again, she's very happy!

This hard drive performs awesome. I have it as my secondary hard drive to retrieve my music files while dj'ing. I have not yet came across any lag issues.

Works great! not broken when i used it. Only gets 4 stars because the software that is supplied does not support Windows 10 and is only semi useful right now.

I installed it into an enclosure and use it as an external drive for a ps4. It's much faster than the disk hdd I was using before and much more compact

Love my new Samsung EVO 850 SSD. It will speed up any desktop or laptop. I replaced all hdd with ssd and love the results. Highly recommended.

I bought this to replace the HDD in my Mac mini and it was well worth the investment because the Mac mini is now about 20x faster in everything.

You can go for a SanDisk at a lesser price. But if you want better speed and reliability pay the extra that Samsung asks and get a much better product. Most SSDs only come with 3 years but Samsung throws in 5 for their Evo drive. Worth the extra 20 dollars just for that.
