I moved Windows and Programs to the new SSD and kept my files (Documents, Music, Photos, etc) on my HHD. I now boot to the SSD and my PC Boots in a few seconds. Programs and PC games run much faster. Now I want to add SSD's to my older PC.

There's not much to say about a product like this. It's fast, it does its job, and it was easy to install in a 2011 MacBook Pro.

This is the BEST SSD on the market! Way better than any other brand for reliability. I will always use Samsung SSDs.

I bought this as a replacement for my Mac Mini hard drive. This is a really great product. It starts and shuts down a lot faster than the original hard drive. I definitely recommend this to anyone in need of a hard drive!

It was easy enough to clone my HD to this SSD and i have had no problems with it to date.

Replaced main hard drive in older Dell PC. No major issues other than bracket (purchased separately) being too small. Had installed a solid state 250GB Intel drive a few years back; too small. This 500GB should do the trick.

Bought to replace a slow drive and this was easy to install and super quick at start-up and working programs. Data transfer speed is amazing!

I chose the Samsung SSD because of its high ratings and the cloning program Samsung offers for their hard drives. It could not have been any easier to use and without any problems when first starting computer after installation.

Samsung makes highly reliable SSD. Some other who make fine USD storage devices are experiencing a high failure rater with their SSD. Don't assume just because someone makes great flash drives that their SSDs will be great.

This is the third drive I've put in for my family/friends. All 3 have been great, and shaved boot times down considerably. Also go to Samsung and get the updated Samsung Magician software if you want to enable rapid mode in Windows 10.

500 GB and over 500 read and writes. easy install and easy transfer of data to SSD drive.

I was getting a lot of errors in the log files on the original 500gb harddrive on an older laptop. I decided to replace it with the 850 evo and glad I did. No problem with the transfer software, everything booted up as expected.

used the included ghosting software and has made for a flawless transition so far, I've had it installed for 3 weeks now.

Shoot for a good discount though, SSD prices are on the rise for manufactured reasons, but you can stack some Visa checkout discounts on top of a sale and it's worth it. Came with Watch Dogs 2 that was better than I expected.

So far I like this new hard drive in my laptop. It's faster then ever and I like the option of removing it when I upgrade.

Bought this after being a faithful Sandisk supporter. Although it barely out performs my Sandisk Ultra 480GB SSD and has an additional 20GB of storage, at the end of the day they both ultimately get the jobs done!

First time using SSD....this increase your speed at starting the computer and accessing data but still a little expensive
