Got this drive to replace a failed 250gig drive. It's my OS drive and it greatly improves performance and no issues as of yet. Thinking of getting another for my other rig.

I really like the SSD. There is plenty of space and it is very fast. Be sure to get a SATA Cable if this is going in a desktop because it doesn’t have any cables in the box.

Upgraded to this SSD from a WD Black 500 Gb drive using Windows 10. Went from 1 minute logon to desktop to 10 seconds. Programs open faster and everything is great so far.

SSD's have a simple job to do - give your machine a performance boost over a mechanical hard disk and secondly not fail. I cannot say much about the failure at this point since I recently started using this SSD, but boy, did it make a difference to my gaming laptop. It used to take up almost 90 seconds or even more before it was usable, but with this SSD, I can start using the laptop in 15 seconds flat. Incredible!

That I bought another one. I bought my first one in Aug of this year for my laptop. When my hard drive in my desktop failed, this is the first drive that I thought of.

This is the second Samsung SSD I have purchased. The first one was smaller storage but both have been great. Both computers started up faster and seem to respond quicker

I have used many (at least ten) of these Samsungs SSDs for new builds and for replacement of existing drives. Never have had a problem. They are fast! Highly recommended.

I purchase this SSD drive to speed up my 4 year old PC and it certainly did the trick. I now have only seconds to wait for the login screen and programs load much faster. I did have some difficulties with the installation, but it was well worth the trouble. If purchasing for a desktop, I would suggest getting the bracket when you purchase the drive. The USB cloning software and cable is essential to install the drive.

Upgraded from a regular 1tb hard drive to this bad boy and let me tell you ,it’s the best thing you can do to your pc . Boot speed of 5 seconds and you’re ready to go .

I replaced my old 128GB SDD with this SDD in my PC. It works as expected with speed matching the declaration. Installation was easy, same as with any internal HD.

Greta buy for the price and gave me improved performance on my notebook PC. Faster and better battery life than the OEM 7200rpm hdd.

Even thought the description says that this is for Laptops, I bought this drive for my desktop PC. Easy to install and easy to set up. Great SSD drive for the price.

Brought new life to my old Dell, comes with easy to use cloning software. Now my system fully boots in under 10 seconds and internet is 3. times faster. ( love it)

There isn't much to say other than this is a great drive at a great price. I had a 120GB version I bought a couple of years back that cost me about as much as the 500G does not.

Was not hard at all to swap out, be sure to have your original boot up disc when restoring your MacBook Pro. Brought new life to a slow Mid-2010 MacBook Pro.

I upgraded my smaller SSD to this 500 gb model. Super easy. Super fast. The Samsung software migrated my entire drive quickly and seamlessly. Perfect experience.

Installed into my 2012 Mac Mini. Man did it make a huge difference. No lag at all with an upgrade to 16gb of memory. Cloned original hard drive to this one. No issues at all.

Purchased this for my daughters 2013 macbook computer after she dropped it and damaged the hard drive. It was very easy to change and took probably 15-20 minutes to do, but now I could do it in 10 min tops. After installing it, we had the apple store reinstall the operating system for free. This hard drive is a definite system upgrade also. The computer has never been this fast. Buy it... You will be pleased!

This SSD is compact and very easy to install. The accompanying software made it easy to move my operating system and all of my existing hard drive's software.

I'm sorry I didn't get this SSD drive for my laptop sooner. I admittingly have an old laptop, but this sure gave it new life. (If I had had a newer laptop, it could have made it even faster because of it's connection type.) It's so much faster than before. I never thought it could have such an affect. It was pretty simple to change out, following instructions I found on the internet.
