I bought this SSD with the intention of replacing my slow HDD in my 2012 Macbook Pro, and let me just say that the results are amazing. Everything loads so much faster and just overall performance is way better. I used to have to wait at least a few minutes to load Microsoft Word but now it only takes a few seconds, for sure a great investment.

Realiability and efficiency are at the top for me. This SSD has never failed me and it’s lighting fast when transferring files!

I am using one of these 500 GB SSD only for the Operating System and System Files and 1TB SSD for Storage. Excellent results.

Best SSD for any computer that still uses SATA. I use it on MAC Computers and the performance after installation is from night to day different...you see up to 4X the speed when using this SSD.

Replaced my old 5400 rpm SATA hard drive with this SSD. OS loads much quicker now and I've noticed my battery lasts longer.

In the realm of SATA SSDs, the 850 EVO is kind of a big deal. The 850 EVOs are likely to drift to the left once they're added to the endless rotation of SSD sales. Their value proposition isn't entirely contingent on lower pricing, though. A high endurance rating, long warranty, robust encryption support, and slick software all contribute to a strong overall package. Apart from the fact that sustained write workloads will saturate the SLC cache, the EVO doesn't really have any weaknesses.

Bought this to fix a computer with a crashed hard drive. The new SSD works perfectly and is much faster than the old drive.

Not much more to say. Good product, reasonably priced for the performance. I have several installed at this point and none have failed (yet).

Great hard drive for replacing your old hard drive disk. It improves the speed of booting up your computer and running software. I would recommend getting this to install your OS and applications and another SDD of HDD for storing your files.

These drives are rock solid. I've been using these class of drives for the past few years and I've never had one fail yet.

This is the blue chip standard in consumer solid state drives. You literally can't go wrong, cheap, fast, and reliable.

This is a fast solid SSD. Once I installed it in my 6 year old Mac Pro it felt like an entirely different machine. Highly recommend.
