Put in aging Mac mini to give it new life. Runs smooth and fast now

Great SSD, easy to install. Boot time for my Asus G751 w/Win 10 Pro is less than 10 seconds! The Samsung Magician software makes it very easy to transfer your data from your old HDD to the SSD.

My laptop turns on and off super quick after installing this drive.

When Microsoft upgraded a 18 month old laptop to Windows 10, without asking, my wife complained on how slow it had become. I had the Geek Squad clone the existing hard drive onto this SSD and install it. Most of the speed issues are gone. According to reviews Samsung should last longer than its competitors w/o sacrificing speed.

Got this when my original PC hard drive had a head crash. Lost some data, didn't want to deal with that again. It was more than I originally wanted to spend but, is well worth it. Boot-up takes about 5 seconds with Win10. Much quieter, too.

Best SSD drives. BB matched the price from Amazon. I had no problem doing biz with BB instead. Then when I get to the store for pickup, I have a list of items that BB had for sale from the ad and plunk more cash on the counter. Hey why not? I am supporting my local community, business, etc., instead of giving it to Amazon or whatever mail order. Then on top of that if the item is defective for some reason, I take it back to the store. It's like, I don't have to waste time and energy dealing with mail-order outfits. In the past I bought a lot of tech stuff from BB anyway. When they got competative recently, I'd rather deal with BB instead. A zero brainer. I love patronizing local business. Buy local. No tracking numbers, no anything. The Samsung 500Gb burns so fast. Now they are $139. Life is good...

I've had a few Samsung EVO's in my systems over the years and they are some of the fastest on the market with VERY high reliability. The EVO 850 is one of these drives that you can put in and rely on dependable service for years to come.

My mid-2012 Macbook was beginning to run slow (for example: start-up took about 3 mins) so I bought this hard drive and installed it myself. My MacBook runs so much faster and smoother now (start-up now takes about 30 seconds.

These are great SSDs and hands down pretty much the only 2.5 drives I use. I've tried SanDisk, WD, Toshiba, and many others. They are the same as far as performance but the EVO is better quality and slightly faster.

The Samsung Evo 850 performs as expected. The Samsung line of solid state drives are top of the line and at a reasonable price point. The drive is very fast and reliable. I expect it to last a long time and could not be happier.

Excellent drive. No issues and super fast compared to the hard drive that came with the PC. It comes with super easy software to copy the old drive onto the new SDD, anyone can do it. An SSD is one of the best upgrades to a PC.
