I upgraded form an Intel ssd to this one and let me tell you wow read and write speeds completely blow the intel ones out of the water!

I bought a new Samsung laptop with a 1 TB drive. I wanted an extra SSD just for programs and operating system. Be warned that this drive looks like RAM. The Geek squad thought it was incorrect and exchanged it for a traditional SSD with casing. Had to return the laptop and get it correctly upgraded. The sales agent helped me buy the correct SSD for the laptop, but it is such a new laptop that the geek squad agent who worked on it did not know about the strange SSD and slot. Fortunately, I was able to get a knowledgeable Geek squad agent to work on it. He installed the correct SSD in front of me. It appeared very simple- lift a copper-colored ribbon, loosen the screw, slide the SSD "strip" in under the screw, and retighten it. Don't know about other laptop brands, but the laptop and SSD matched, as they are both Samsung products. This Samsung laptop has an easy install slot for this SSD, but I prefer not to do these things myself and void the warranty.

Fast and dependable ssd. Placed into my old Dell desktop with drive bay adapter. You can pickup the adapter at Best Buy as well for like $10. Took all of 10 minutes. Reinstalled Win10. I used a Thermaltake USB docking station with the old hardrive and transferred all photos and files over to new ssd. It's like my computer is brand new again, boots to desktop in seconds. Use included software to optimize the drive.

The technology and tech for the price was good. It seems fast and reliable thus far.

There was a noticeable improvement in boot up time after installing Windows 10 to the SSD. Also, certain games loaded much faster (like Skyrim) Well worth the money

My mac book pro died on me last month. After taking it to the mac store it turned out to be a bad hard drive. I decided to go with a SSD instead of a regular hard drive. I had no idea how much a computer's performance could be improved by upgrading the hard drive! This hard drive is fast and sped up my computer by a couple minutes in start up. It also seems to perform all tasks faster. I am very pleased.

I installed this SSD I am very impress with the performance. I was still using 3.5" hard drives until I build a PC order for my friend and installed the SSD I was impress on how fast and responsive the drive worked. I definitely would recommend a Solid State Drive addon. Took me years before I purchase one and now I'm happy hopefully I find some cheaper with the specs of an average of 500mbs read n write for a good price.

The Samsung SSD is an upgrade for my ThinkPad T470 ultrabook which came with an HDD. It was easy and intuitive to clone and to install. A word of advice for those using drive encryption: make sure to descript your drive before cloning (turn off BitLocker in Windows 10, etc). The cloning software may have trouble with an encrypted drive. Decrypt again after the upgrade. Overall, very happy.

This was an easy changeover because I had an external drive carrier already. The instructions were clear enough and the included software functioned adequately.

Great hard drive but I wish I could have afforded bigger. They are pricey.

I bought this solid state drive to speed up my 3+ year old MacBook pro. The boot up time went from about 1 minute to about 15 seconds with this installed and the shut down time is under 5 seconds! It was easy to install with a torx screwdriver and a tutorial video online (not very tech savvy either). I picked it up on a Black Friday sale for under $100.00 and its like I have a new computer, money well spent!

Samsung makes great SSD's. this thing is stable and super fast.

I luv Samsung ssd drives. The only brand I will buy (And yes, I have have tried others). Great hardware and great support software, all at a reasonable price. Very pleased.

Love The speed on boot up switching between apps and opening multiple apps is no problem.

I picked this SSD up while it was on sale and to replace the traditional HD in my MacMini. As expected performance was greatly increased and it has given new "life" to older machine. I also picked one up for my aging Windows machine.

Easy install. Much improved performance after upgrading to this drive in my MacBook Pro.

Replaced hard drive in Lenovo t430s. Only problem we're the limitations of Samsung magician that wouldn't let me clone. Used third party app. Drive works well.
