reliable, quick, and clean software suite is also pretty nice

My company has used dozens of these drives to fix customer's computers with either a failing or slow hard drive. The Samsung Evo series is fast and stable. The included software is some of the best software on the market for taking an old computer and cloning the drive (while it is still working) to the new Samsung. The software works better than other software worth 100s.

I've been using the Samsung SSD's in Apple laptops for a couple of years and they are easy to install and get running. Highly recommended!

Been wanting to a second SSD for my gaming computer (use it for my games to make them load faster) and was waiting for a good deal when I came across this, was priced way below anywhere else I could find it, only problem I had was my system would not see the drive, had to do some digging to had the system actually recognize it as my D: drive and all was good

I knew my MacBook Pro would be faster (mid 2012, 2.6 GHZ, Quad Core I7 with 16GB Ram), but I had no idea how much faster. Will fully boot, including typing in my password in 22-23 seconds. Could not be happier with this purchase. And to find it on sale was just icing on the cake. I took the old drive and put it in a USB 3 enclosure and now use it for mobile backups.

I have a 2014 dell laptop I wa thinking of replacing. My brother recommended changing the hard drive for faster performance. I saw the reviews on this SSD and it was a great buy. Install was a breeze. The software that it came with didn't work so I went on the Samsung site and did a direct dnload. It worked like a charm. Same a lot of money by just upgrading to a SSD!

I have installed about 50 of these so far and I have never had 1 go bad. These are little pricey compared to the competition but then that is what you pay for the dependability and performance. I own a computer repair business and hence reliability is the key here. I rather spend more on my parts rather than the customer being down for 2 extra days.

Super fast boot times, loading in games and applications takes a fraction of the time a standard mechanical drive would and a price to performance ratio that's tough to beat. The included software is helpful too for setting up the drive for however you want. It also tells you about firmware updates, how much you've written to the drive and if there's a problem (which is rare)

Big improvement, more storage, quiet & very fast and reasonable price

This took my custom build to the next level. Samsung’s cloning software is super easy to use and reliable making this an easy transition.

Computer loads up on about 20 seconds compared to over 2 minutes with velociraptor 15k rpm drive. Very smooth transitions. Very pleased.

I put this Hard Drive in my wife's 3 year old Alienware, which came with a mechanical hard drive. It is faster now in boot times, and load times than when the computer was brand new. Installation was easy and I used the restore discs to do a fresh clean install of Windows and all hardware drivers. The computer is as fast now as my brand new Alienware thanks to this upgrade.

Purchased his drive to try to save my old T400. The old laptop would drag on, take forever to boot up and was just sluggish in everything I did. The hard drive activity ligjtnwould hardly ever go out. However, once I installed this SSD, OMG. This thing boots up in just seconds now. Probably the best upgrade I've very made. Better than increasing the RAM.

I've been building high end PCs since the mid 80s. Few brands have impressed me as much as Samsung. Just about every product that bears the name is the best you can get in the PC world. Heck, they make great refrigerators too! The main thing about these drives is the high level of reliability. Way better than any other brand with Intel being the only close competition.
