This hard drive has made my 2012 macbook pro run much faster than I it would. Start up time takes less than 15 seconds! I never see the damned, spinning beachball anymore! Apps open up immediately! A great purchase!

The Samsung 850 EVO SSD is not the fastest, however for normal office work you can not tell the performance difference from much more expensive SSDs while offered at much lower price. I like the generous warranty, the Magician software and the space is sufficient for almost everything but video work. Very satisfied customer!

I replaced the original hard drive with the Samsung - 850 EVO 500GB SSD along with upgrading the memory from 4GB to 16GB in my 2011, 13in MacBook Pro, and have seen a much needed improvement in speed and performance. I have somewhat limited tech. knowledge and skills, but was easily able to perform the upgrade myself.

I have owned other brands and just don't live up to samsung SSD. I had a 128 GB in my pc and decided to rebuild with a larger drive. In the life of the old one, I have written over 5 TB on it in about 5 years. Using the magician software, I can test it's performance and still perfectly good. I won't recommend any other product.

Purchased my "Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500GB" drive while on sale installed it in my laptop several days later this 5 year old computer used to that take up to 3 minutes to boot now it boot in less than 5 seconds! Only thing you must install the Samsung software and verify you have the correct chip set drivers (a Windows 10 update problem).

This hard drive was just what I needed for my 2010 MacBook Pro, I upgraded my memory also and my Mac is just like new after 5 years.

I needed an SSD to speed up my load times for games and demanding software. However, I did not need a large storage capacity but want room for potential growth. This met the best of both worlds for me. I would recommend that if you need a lot of storage buy either a bigger SSD or use this in combination a HHD.

I was reluctant to buy this SSD at first despite the things i've heard but when my hard drive completely failed and became unusable, i was forced to buy this. All i can say is it didnt fail my expectations, pc boots up quick and fulfills all the tasks i need it to at a significantly quicker speed than my previous hard drive.

Boot up went from 3 mins to 13 seconds. Simply amazing.

I bought this for my very slow MacBook Pro. I would have to wait minutes for some programs to open and it was driving me crazy. It would take over 3 minutes to open Word and iTunes with the factory hard drive. After installing this hard drive it now takes 6 seconds to open word and less than 3 seconds to open iTunes. Amazing!

Samsung has the SSD tech down. This is my second Samsung SSD. I've had others fail, but never a Samsung drive.

I had already installed this Samsung drive on another of my computers so I knew how efficient it would be. I wasn't disappointed at all. All categories of operation were enhanced as they were in my previous experience. I would highly recommend this product to anyone seeking to improve the quality and speed of their computer.

I had old laptop (8 year old) which almost died. It also had 80GB HDD. Lapotp takes long time to boot and really hard to work. I purchased 500GB to replace the old HDD. The drive comes with installation guide for laptop and desktop. It improved my overall windows experience. Excellent SSD to save your dying laptop.
