Reliable and fast performance that’s affordable. This is my 4th upgrade with this SSD and the difference is dramatic. Boot time went from a minute or more to seconds.

What more can you say. It is an SSD that is fast and stands up for years of service. I have install many of these and do not look for anything else for reliability.

I am always on the road and have had problems over the years with the hard drive failing. With this solid state hard drive I shouldn't have the problems and it is fast and quiet since you don't have the moving parts of a hard drive spinning. My laptop boots up much quicker. More expensive than a regular hard drive but worth the extra money

This added SSD drive has made my new laptop amazingly fast...love it...only down side is, there is not much space on it...must use an external drive to save items

Fast and stable. Easy to setup. Migration software did not work well for me. Other than that very satisfied and bought second drive.

The Samsung 500GB Evo has been a very solid hard drive. I have been using it for several months, and it seems extremely stable and the speeds are decent. I also have the 256GB Pro hard drives, and while the EVO line is noticeably slower, it is still blazing fast compared to a spindle drive.

I already had a 250gb boot up ssd so this was purchased for games only. VR games are loading quicker and system running great. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Samsung makes one of the best, if not the best SSD. You can't go wrong with it. This is my 3rd SSD (3 systems) and all have p[roved to work exceptionally fast and reliably.

Large size for an SSD with very affordable cost. Windows 10 machine boots in under 10 seconds and plenty of room for additional software. Makes computer lightning fast.

I am an IT, per se, I have been building computers for others for years. I never have had enough money to build my own and this last April my laptop died. So I bought a new one from Best Buy. It is an i7-6500U, 16gb RAM, 1TB Hitatchi HDD (this was a problem) and a dedicated 2gb Nvidia 940m graphics card. Needless to say it mopped the floor with the Adobe CC suite. Everything ran awesome. Then I noticed a significant reduction in speed and retrieval, so I ran a HDD speed test and it was sad. Only 100gb of the 1tb drive was running at full speed. The other 900gb was running at an average of 25mbps. I didn't want to use my warranty so I bought the Samsung 850 EVO. I have installed it in dozens of computers but not a laptop. So I thought to give it a try on my laptop. This would be my first HDD to SSD clone and the Samsung software for cloning worked flawlessly. Now everything loads obnoxiously fast compared to my HDD. My boot time is under 20 seconds versus the five minute boot time of my HDD. My sleep to wake speed is under five seconds compared to the one minute time before. Honestly you can't beat the power of an SSD but then again my Hitatchi drive was probably dying. I never liked Hitatchi drives because their fail rate is to high. All in all the Samsung 850 Evo and all Samsung SSDs are practically unbeatable. I can't wait to build a desktop and use the newest Samsung storage options.

If you want a fast and reliable SSD this is the one. Very good option to make your notebook much faster to boot in Windows and launch applications.

Fantastic drive at an excellent price. Took my 8 year old PC that I was considering replacing and sped it up so much it's like a brand new new computer. I am very happy.

I bought a couple of these SSDs after doing a lot of research on them. For the best bang for my buck, I decided on Samsung 850 EVO (x2) to upgrade my 2010 MacBook Pro. For one, I went for the extra space. I went having 320 GB to a TB. The speeds is like night & day...times ten. Using the BlackMagic Disk Speed test I went from like 40 Mbs Read & Write, to over 350 Mbs Read & Write. My old Mac is practically new. By upgrading from HDD to SSD, I saved myself a lot of money. Anywhere from $500 to $1,000, if I had decided to buy a new computer. Here, I spent about $320. I give this two thumbs up.

I have used a number of 850Evo SSD's and have had no problems. They are some of the fastest drives on the market. They are super reliable as well.

I replaced my 1TB hard drive for my HP Envy 360 with a Skylake. 6500 processor with this 500gb ssd. I experienced quicker boot up and shutdown times as well as quicker response when using IE. The hard drive is lighter and draws less energy. There is less battery drainage when away from an outlet. It also has a 5 year warranty which is a plus. I reloaded the operating system from the restoration disks vs reimaging it. The forums stated that this method is recommended for ssd installations. I am planning on purchasing a larger ssd at a later date when prices become more affordable..
