I installed this as the boot disk on my somewhat older PC running Windows 10. What a difference! My PC used to take several minutes to get to the point where I could log in and do any useful work after rebooting. It now takes perhaps 15 seconds!

I had a little bit of trouble getting my mechanical hard drive cloned to this product but, when I did it is by far the fastest hard drive I've delt with I HIGHLY recommend you get atleast one ssd for any computer and a mechanical for junk data. 10 outta 10 buy it.

This is a great drive at a great value! I've had no issues with it at all!

Very simple to install! I hooked it up to my desktop with the SATA cables, turned my computer on, loaded the Samsung Migration software. Copied my other harddrive to this SSD and then now my comp runs extremely fast ! It's so fast that i need to wait for my internet to load before I can browse my internet when I first boot up to windows lol, get the pro version if you have luxury money to drop, otherwise this is pretty top of the line stuff.

I bought one of these when I upgraded my PC to Windows 10. Cloned my Win 7 hard drive to it, installed it, and upgraded to Win 10. Worked perfectly. So now I bought one for my laptop. Again, clone hard drive to SSD, install, and run. Perfect.

I have purchased dozens of these Samsung SSDs for upgrades and they have always been reliable. I have not had any type of problems with these. This is a great product from a very reputable manufacturer. This SSD is always my first option. Go ahead and buy.

Time will tell, but this appears to be a great product at a great price.

I got this for a newer toshiba laptop that just seemed to take loner to load up than it should. The start up time for windows 10 is about 15 seconds. So now I turn the power on and I'm ready to work.

Can't get much better than this drive without mortgaging the homestead.

I installed the Samsung 500 GB SSD on a 5 year old computer that was running slowly. It made a huge difference in performance. No need to upgrade the PC. I would recommend this SSD to anyone that wants to boost the performance of there aging computer.

this samsung SSD is very user friendly, i use this as a booter for my desktop. But first you have to mirror your OS and your files and doing so is so easy as this item comes with a software that mirrors whatever you have in your old HDD or disk drives.

What's there not to like, fast, no worries about shaking are dropping the drive, and secure. Definitely recommend doing any upgrade with this drive. Just make sure you have a kit to do a back up and read up on How to use the back up for Macintosh.

There are a lot of SSD's out there, but samsung make the best ones. I've tried ones from toshiba, sandisk, PNY and intel. Samsung have found a sweet spot with the 850 evo model. Being able to make an old computer new again is worth it's weight in gold.

We needed to replace our hard drive and this was the best deal around.

I am not a super techy guy but was told to get an ssd as my first upgrade in my tower. After installing the ssd (with a few difficulties for my lack of installation skills) it worked like a champ. I'll never go back to a regular hard drive!

Installed in my mid 2010 macbook pro. The installation was easy and I was able to install mac os without any hangups. my computer feels brand new. This upgrade will definitely delay my purchase of a new computer for another couple of years.
