Probably overkill for anything I'm doing on it, but it's zippy! Nice to have theoretically twice the speed and the same storage for less cost than a single 1TB SSD drive.

Dramatic Speed Up

Start-up times went from about 2.5 minutes to about 20 seconds. Applications load much quicker now. The drive was very easy to install. Well worth the money!

Best Upgrade for an older laptop you could get

As it's a solid state drive, there are no moving parts and data transfers are much faster. BB had it on sale and I snatched up one. Works great!

Agree with all others about this SSD

Cloning software downloaded from Samsung easy to use and transfer was flawless. I took a few hours to transfer almost 250GB. Boot up is now only seconds instead of minutes.

One of the top SSDs on the market

I have installed them in many laptops and they all perfom well and haven't given me any troubles. You can buy others for cheaper but I decided to pay a bit more and get one from a reputable maker.

There are others that are cheaper, but they do not perform as well. You will love the boost in boot time as well as the overall performance.

Once I saw the performance upgrade, I went right back and purchased another for my home desktop. The data migration software migrated my data and OS settings flawlessly and I was up and running fast!

The best for the price

I wish I would have made the jump years ago. This sped up my system by easily 300%. I couldn't be any more happy!

I gotta say I will never go back to a mechanical hdd for my os.. It definitely improved performance and my computer boots way faster..

This drive is faster than the previous I had, it looks very well built and I only hope that it last more than the other
