Very fast, easy to install, comes with good software to migrated off old HDD

I make custom gaming PC and this 850 EVO 500GB is perfect for the OS drive.

Blazing fast speeds that fully utilize the bandwidth of your sata3 port. Even in a sata2 port it will make a noticeable difference. 5yr warranty is the icinbg on the cake. That's 2 full years more them most competitors.

This ssd is great for OS and storage. I picked up two of these to go on my mini-itx build. Very light compared to regular hdd. Performance is by far better than hdd. Samsung 850 evo is one of the best ssd you can get right now.

I use Samsung drives in all my computers with one exception I have a few Intel 730 drives. The Samsung drives are fast and compatible with everything I've tried them in including Macs.

I got this SSD for my 2012 MacBook Pro and it really did breathe new life into it. Much more than adding any amount of RAM or any other upgrade would do. I’m very pleased with the performance and reliability of the drive.

I purchased a new laptop and the first thing I did was swapped out the standard hard drive for this solid state drive. Best decision, the read and write times are amazing. Even when I export my videos I can keep working on other documents.

Great SSD size for price, especially if you grab it while on sale. I choose this Samsung because it has a 5 year warranty, and most other brands at this price point only have 2-3 yr. warranty. The Samsung Migration Tool did it's thing and didn't have to do anything to get my data/OS mirrored to the SSD. After installing, wow did I notice a difference. Boot up times from power on to Windows login screen is about 20 seconds. The OS and applications are snapper; apps open without any delay. After having it about a month, I upgraded my MOBO, CPU, and RAM. Game load times are probably less than 30 seconds. In game map changes, loading, etc. is about 10-30 seconds as well. SSD's are so much worth the money. I'd like to get another SSD and do a RAID 0, as everyone states that your speeds multiplier even more with this setup.

Pretty much everyone I know that uses SSDs likes the Samsung ones. I can understand why. They're just plain great quality. Easy to install in my new laptop and works like a charm. I'll definitely be looking at Samsung for my next one.

I install quite a few SSD's for my customers and we only use Samsung. Other manufacturers claim to get the same read and write speeds as Samsung but it's a flat-out lie. Samsung is the best SSD on the market, hands down.

Easy to install, does what it's supposed to. Bought it to supplement another drive of the same make since I needed more space and like the way they run. I've never used the transfer software they come with, but the hardware is a+.

I was trying to find ways to upgrade and speed up my 2011 early macbook pro 15", and I knew taking out my old HD and switch for a SSD is the way to go. There are quite a few step by step tutorials online, and it took about an hour to figure out how to install it myself. Make sure you erase everything on SSD (its own internal software) before you install and follow closely to the tutorials. And the result is great, saving me $$$ from having to upgrade a new MBP.

Best price/performance on market. Install many of these with no problems.

Not as fast as the m.2 but not ready to upgrade my whole rig

Great SSD drive and value. My laptop is 10x faster than my previous standard hard drive. They also have great rating for this model. Glad I brought it. The sales staff did a great job of promoting the drive also.

Looking for the single best upgrade to your computer? Look to a Samsung SSD. Nothing else gives you the value of performance vs. dollars like an SSD, and Samsung's VNAND SSD's are bar none the best I've used, and I've used a lot!

I actually purchased two of these SSDs for my laptop to replace the previous drives that were not solid state. So glad I did. These are very fast and I will no longer have the down time from the problems created by the previous ones.

This was an easy and affordable upgrade for my Dell laptop.
