I few years back I put a SSD in my PC when Windows would be installed. NIGHT & DAY difference is the speed it takes at start up. If you don't have one, you need one! Seriously. Stop reading this and go buy one. GO!

This is the best ssd for the money. I am very impressed that it works as well as it does. I have them both in my desktop and my laptop, and well they don't work as well as a m.2 one, they do work great. Best upgrade you can do.

My recently purchased macbook pro came with 4gb of ram and a 500gb hard drive. While a ram upgrade to 16 gb increased performance, the Samsung 850 evo installed a few weeks later made a dramatic change. The mac boots in 15 seconds!

Does Samsung make ANYTHING these days that isn't fantastic? The 850 Evo continues the tradition of great Samsung SSD products. Be sure to use Samsung Magician software included with the drive to maximize your performance!

My 2 year old laptop was running very slow. Found out it was the hard drive. I found this drive after some research. What a difference boot up speed and everything a bout it is so much faster and every easy to install.

I bought this hard drive to replace the SATA one in my 5+ year old Macbook Pro. I was thoroughly suprised with the speed. It used to take well over 3 minutes to boot up my machine. Now, everything is up and running under 30 seconds.

Replaced my aging Seagate Hybrid drive and this is much faster. Samsung management software also helps a lot in monitoring and performing tweaks to performance. Will definitely upgrade as soon as I can to a bigger capacity...
