Best SSD ever. Fast, reliable and efficient. M.2 is a bit expensive atm, so this is the best alternative. Try it out and see for your self!!!

This is a great product. I was building a new computer and wanted a SSD drive that wast fast and reliable. This did the job. This SSD EVO is fast. Once I start my computer it boots up right away! I dont have to sit and wait for 5 minutes. Easy installation if you know what your doing and have built computers before. All in all I give this product a 5 star rating!

Sony Evo Solid State Drive is excellent replacement for the ps4 pro slow external hard drive. Games load fast and ps4 pro boots up quick.

I installed this drive in a Late 2011 MacBook Pro and did a clean install of High Sierra OS using a USB flash drive. I highly recommend you research creating a USB boot drive and follow the directions carefully. It took me a couple of tries to make the USB boot drive because I missed a step. After completing the installation and setup my MacBook Pro seems like a new laptop. It boots up in seconds instead of 2 to 3 minutes. Programs open faster. I highly recommend this drive for an upgrade to older computers or a fresh build.

You need speed? ya gots it. Yuh need reliablities? Yah gets it! Get this drive before the Mr Grave ah-come-ah-knocking and takes ya away!

Have installed this on my Mac mini and this SSD drive worked perfectly. My Mac mini runs like a much more expensive faster machine now.

I bought this SSD for my old laptop which was bought in 2014 and after replacing the HDD with SSD, boot time reduced to 1.7 sec, which is significant improvement in performance. Only negative is the prices dropped drastically right after I made my purchase.

Solid state drives are the way to go. Speed and low-noise. It doesn't take up much space. Runs cool. Not disappointed at all with the product.

I purchased this SSD to replace my legacy 250GB 7200 rpm drive (Dell Latitude E6410). The included Samsung cloning software worked very well - my old drive was cloned within about three hours. I then simply swapped drives. Bootup went from about 90 seconds to less than 20. I also now have increased free disc capacity, even though I tend to store data files on external drives. This drive is a winner; hopefully traditional Samsung quality will breathe many more years into this Windows 7 laptop.

Used this drive on an older HP desktop that was SATA 2 and not SATA 3 and it still made a big difference in loading the windows 10 operating system and overall performance. Read and write speeds have about doubled with this drive over the original drive that came with the HP Pavilion P7. Boot up time is now about 1 min. and is fully ready to use and idle in under 5 min. I have also seen this drive work in a HP desk top that has th Intel I7 6700 processer with SATA 3 capability and it is FAST! On those type of machines you can also enable Rapid Mode which allows this drive to run at it's full potential (about 500 MB or more read and write). Boot up time was accomplished in seconds and game playing was phenomenal. This one really helped to smooth out the video and removed and perceivable lag. My next pc will also have one of these installed. Only one suggestion to make when transfering you stuff from OEM drive to this one is delete as much unnessary stuff as you can and use the USB 3.0 port for transfer. Transfer from USB 2.0 is very slow compared to 3.0. Found that out that used the wrong port and it took quite a while longer to tranfer than it would have if I had used the correct port.

I purchased this SSD because Amazon had 9k reviews and this SSD had almost 5 complete stars. No other brand came close. It's pricier than other brands, but Samsung has created an SSD that is very reliable and fast. My boot time on PC is 11.3 seconds. I will definitely pick up another one for an aging laptop in the future to give it new life.

I was happy to find the incredible SSD at an affordable price. Performance and 500GB capacity are great. However, I had not kept up with new developments. Now that I am getting a new PC, better non-SATA SSD's are available. If your motherboard has the slots available, go with an M.2 SSD instead. If your system supports it, go with the non-SATA NVMe option for best speed. More storage is a good thing, so I will move this drive to the new system, and it won't go to waste.

Does the job. Needed to do a system re-install, so got this SSD, and my boot time went from 2.5/3.1 minutes to 30 seconds. PS. Software install went from 12/20 minutes to under 3.2 minutes Time is money. Get it, get it now! ;-) Speedy, Easy install, Bolt it wherever you need as no moving parts (No inertia to worry about) Lots of space for system software (recommend Using extra internal or external drives for file storage and just use this as your system drive

The way to go, don't go another day without it. It's extremely fast and no noise. Great getting adjusted to the Windows 10 OS

Samsung SSD's are the only drives I buy. In my opinion they are the fastest and most reliable drives out there.
