I expected it to run faster. Then I found out I have a SATA 2 board, not SATA3. So it only runs at about half the speed

Great drive. It was super easy to install in my tower and it loads very fast.

you can get a better SSD if you're willing to pay for it but this one is very good and quite cheap, definitely get the best performance to cost ratio on this one.

I own a small IT support company and these are by far the best price/performance/value 100% stable and negligibly slower than the much more expensive pro series from Samsung.

Love it, works super fast for solid state, saw it in other place for much more money, I always go to Best Buy and if they have it on-stock they usually have the best price.

new Asus with traditional hard drive started slowing down after 1 month. replaced it (Geek Squad) with this Samsung SSD and night and day better. highly recommend!!

I purchased this product after black friday and got an awesome deal. So far no issues and it does what you would except it to do. I am using it in my desktop computer.

So far it's working great. Was looking to speed up my desktop performance and this SSD has made it incredibly faster. The only drawback is that it doesn't tell you to make sure you have SATA 3 ports on your motherboard when changing drives to insure maximum speed potential. Regardless of the SATA 3 ports, the SSD is lightning fast. Especially when coupled with additional RAM.

It's pretty fast but expensive. SSDs are still pretty expensive per gigabyte.

Got rid of noise an intermittent no boot. Goes online so much faster.

Fast.... Blazing fast! The 850 EVO is hands down the best budget SSD on the market right now. Breathe some new life into your aging laptop, you wont regret it.

this ssd is really fast at boot time transferring files and just about everything else. would definitely recommend this to anyone who doesn't have an ssd.

Finally convinced my sister to add this to her 2012 MBP. She didn’t get it until her computer was just worthless. Now it runs faster than even newer computers.

Add this to my 2011 MacBook Pro and the difference is night and day. Instead of waiting on my computer to complete my actions, the computer now waits for my actions.

I updated the drive in my laptop to the Samsung drive. It is very fast and I'm extremely pleased. I trust the Samsung brand from other products I have purchased.

If you haven't realized it yet, SSD's are the future! Pop one of these into your old mac or pc and it'll feel new! Stop waiting for things to load already lol

Installed into my system in minutes, copied my old OS drive over to the new one. Boot time for windows 10 went from 3 minutes to about 30 seconds. Great upgrade!!!!

I replaced a laptop HD with this SSD. It feels a lot faster now and if the laptop is jostled, the data won't get corrupted. It's a huge improvement!
