Purchased this to gain capacity for new AAA game title storage. With modern games taking up 50-75 Gig of space (Battlefield 1 and Doom for example) and the price of SSDs coming down from just a year ago it was time to upgrade. Watch for these to go on sale if you are not in immediate need.
