Good SATA M.2

Make sure you are getting the correct one, they are not interchangable. I put this in a Dell Inspiron 7375 2n1 13" Ryzen5. It booted and has worked flawlesly. Even though it is a SATA M.2, these EVO models feel a lot faster than the smaller stock Samsung SSDs. The only negative is that they are almost twice the price of the newer NVMe models.

Installation and configuration were strait forward and really easy. It’s too early to assess SSD durability, but after couple weeks of high-load use it works perfectly well. No overheating at all.

We purchased this SSD as an upgrade for our MacBook Pro 13 ($178.00+ shipping) was a no brainer in price which is normally double the sale price, for M.2. Samsung is a reputable company. (( we upgraded from a mechanical external drive to SSD, and we are so happy, our macbook SSD is the newer SSD which is soddered happy to have gotten an early Christmas 2020 gift ))

I ended up using something else. For Windows 10 users you have to remove Bitlocker in order to clone also.

Excellent Samsung M 2 pcie not nvme
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The great drive I went from the Asus q536fd that came with 256 SSD and one terabyte spinning drive. Replace the spinning drive with a 500 gig to and a half inch Samsung QVO and the m.2 with the Samsung 870 m.2 pcie as it was not compatible with nvme I was able to get it to boot and load it just got way too hot to the touch and it would just be a matter of time until it melted my motherboard. All in all it's a solid buy you can't go wrong I've had this drive in the computer now for 3 years I've had to recliner once due to software corruption in Windows 11 but I'm reinstalling 11 as we speak and the drive still works great
