Samsung EVO drives reviving old computers

Pop in one of these solid state drives and see it fly again. The hard drive has been the bottleneck in the machines using the mechanical drive technology. By removing this bottleneck, your laptop may be fast enough for jobs of today. Samsung also provides a free data migration utility so the upgrade is not difficult.

Dang this is fast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced my 7200rpm hard drive with this SSD and man does windows and programs boot fast. It used to take me 1-1.5 minutes to boot windows 10, now we are like 10-20 seconds. I actually turn my laptop off everytime now since it boots faster than my old one waking up from sleep. I recommend you do a clean install of windows than cloning old hard drive. YOu can then use the old drive as a external harddrive.

I have never had a SSD before but putting this in my computer and installing my operating system on it took my computer that would normally take anywhere from 2-3 mins to load into windows down to 25-30 secs to get to the login screen. WOW that is a huge difference. I have had no problems with this product and as of now am a firm believer in the SSD.
