I have purchased several of these for numerous builds. I have the 1TB’s for storage and the 250GB for my operating system. Can’t go wrong. I have also used this to bring my MacBook Pro 2012 back to life.

I use this drive for my operating system. It made my computer boot up a lot faster than before with my HDD. I would definitely recommend to a friend, I’m very satisfied with how the product operates.

Very nice hard drive and works better than expected. Turns a slow laptop into a very usable device and load times from cold start to login are around 6 seconds with windows 10

I have used several of the Samsung 860 EVO SSD's to replace older hard drives. So far, we have had no issues with any of them and this will be my hard drive of choice if I need another one.

Got this SSD on sale and it’s a great upgrade to an old iMac I had laying around. I would highly recommend this for older computers. I would go with the Pro version on the newer computers as it can use the full speed from the Sata 3 controller.

I have an older laptop with an A6 Vision processor with reasonably fast clock speed, and maxed out the seen with 16gb RAM. This hard drive shows a better performance increase than when I went from 4GB to 16GB ram

I installed this into my ASUS ROG laptop and exchange out the old HDD. It fit perfectly and was exactly what I needed to get the old beast running again. Boot up is very quick and I now have a crisp feeling gaming again

The old hard drive was giving out in my laptop so ran on down to my neighborhood BestBuy and bought this on sale. Affordable and so far so good. Boots faster and hope it lasts till something else dies on my old trusted computer.

This is one of many samsung SSD i have bought in the past. Simply, it is the best drive I have ever used. I still have drive that was purchased six years ago and still working without an issue.

I have purchased well over 20 of these Samsung drives and never had any issue with one. I only purchase Samsung SSD drives when I need one. Can't say enough about these units. They just work!!

Used it to speed up a Dell desktop that used to have a slower hard drive. Easy to install and no problems installing Windows. You can also monitor this SSD by installing Samsung Magician.

I have replaced probably about 100 spinning disks with Samsung ssds. I consider Samsung to be the industry leader in ssds and I will continue to use these ssds.

Used along with insigna external drive box. Installs easily, just need to plug in to receptical in box. Then use windows drive formatter to format the drive, which assigns a drive letter.

Good for resurrection my old laptop which I wanted to give them to my brother,and he was so happy with that.It’s so smooth in any programs open fast ( at leases my brother,he’s not complain).

I just built a new Ryzen 5 system and purchased the Samsung 860 EVO SSD to run my Windows 10 and other software. I have a separate hard drive to store all of my personal files. My boot up times are lighting fast and I couldn't be happier.

I installed the 860 evo in my kids 2010 MacBook Pro and google a video on how to do it. Unbelievably fast now! We will see how long it lasts. As of now I will recommend the purchase.

Replacing the traditional disk drive in a PC is a great way to significantly boost performance for a minimal cost. The Samsung EVO line of SSD drives perform well and have good life.

I bought it as gift for my father slow computer. The software to clone hard drives to the SSD, has been improved since I first bought one for myself long ago. Don't forget to get a USB to SSD cable

This drive is rated 550 MB/s sequential read when connected via SATA 3. It is wickedly fast, boots windows 10 in 5 seconds from POST to login. The endurance rating is higher than any other SSD I researched.

The 860 EVO is hands down has the best balance of value/performance/reliability in an SSD. I am so impressed with this drive, that I just ordered a second one for a different computer. Highly recommended.
