These SSD evos have been great since version 700's.

Good replacement SSD decent speed. Better off going with an m3 if you have the slot for it nowadays though. Still running after about 1.5 years.

This was the best priced full size laptop, and for everyday usage, it works just fine. You'll need more for intense gaming, or video production, but for most people it would be just fine.

The hard drive in my Dell laptop had been corrupted and was not amenable to repairs gy the Geek Squad. They suggested replacing it with a solid state drive and re-loading the software, making it like a new machine. The work was accomplished in two days and the computer now runs fine.

This SATA drive resussitated my prized 21" HP entertainment laptop just as stated in previous reviews. With my poor vision this was very important for me. As usual, I was able to get this at Best Buy for a better -price than Amazon or Samsung web sites. Kudos once again to my favorite store.

great ssd for os, the Samsung - 860 EVO 250GB Internal SATA Solid State Drive, is very fast i am thinking of buying the big brother the 970 evo because it loads so fast

Purchased this drive to update a desktop computer. I really like the Samsung drives as I was able to use their Data Migration software to image the old drive to the new one. It worked extremely well and I'm very happy with the drive.

Been using Samsung SSDs for about 4 years now. We use them at work and I use them on all my 3 PCs. Every time a family member or a friend asks me to replace the HDD on their devices I always buy Samsung SSDs. As of now, I have not experience any going bad yet.

Needed extra back up for a Cnc machine at work, this provided a great replacement for out current hard drive at a great price!

Been using this drive for about a year now and the nicest feature is the speedy defragment feature but it also has a quick start-up and is great for web surfing. I will buy all solid state drives from now on and samsung seems to make a great one.

I brought my laptop In thinking I would need to replace it due to age and old software. The geek squad individual checked it out and recommended upgrades and the latest Microsoft software, etc. Again great service by Best But Staff,,,,Lee

I brought my computer in to BEST BUY cause I was having issues with it. The GEEK SQUAD fixed it and gave me pointers on what to expect. The new hard drive they put in changed my settings some what. The geek man told me where to find my stuff. i wish I knew the name of him.

Returned this for a 500GB. Return was no problem. I took it back to the store and they credited my credit card. The 500 is great. Everything worked perfectly. Installed it myself with a micro Philips screwdriver.

Nice ssd it works, prefer the m.2 if your mobo supports it though, otherwise no complaints works as intended.

had an older laptop hard drive replaced with the samsung SSD and did make the ""old"" laptop work like new and faster turn on and searches sure made me wished I should have done it earlier,, future laptop will definitely have an SSD installed,,

I have 20+ of these in service. They're great. Highly recommend them to anyone. Still giving 5 stars, even though no 2.5"-3.5" adapter isn't included. (not needed for laptops and most modern computers have a 2.5" mounting place already)

Good little SSD. Can't speak to longevity yet, but no problems yet. Easy install, just make sure you have a spare SATA cable lying around first.

Installed in a recently purchased Lenovo laptop. It came with a very small 128GB NVMe SSD drive and I wanted additional storage and this was the way to go. It's not a large capacity model SSD but it suits me just fine for now
