a MUST upgrade for all PC

I just bought 250gigs just to install my OS and Battlefield 5... NO REGRETS and i would totally recommend this upgrade for those who still have HDD with their OS installed. I actually convinced my brother to buy for himself too for his new PC... 5 years warranty is a PLUS can't beat performance for its price.

Super Fast - Great Buy!

It was performing very slowly, even though I had upgraded the HD to a 1TB, a few years back. The speed improvement is amazing. Not just on startup, but how fast the browser windows and productivity programs (like Excel and Word) load as well.. I'm happy with my purchase...much cheaper than buying a new laptop--especially ones that have my specs. Bought an external drive sleeve from Best Buy to turn it into an external drive.

New Life to Macbook Pro

Very slow start up and shut down, spinning color wheel between apps. Most of the slowdown happened when upgrading to Sierra, then High Sierra. Found some good info on changing to a SSD hard drive. I connected the new drive to a sata to usb cable and then cloned the drive. Took around 4 hours. Then around 20 minutes to install The drive and do a little cleaning. It was a major improvement! Don't hesitate, it was very easy.

Best, most-reliable SSD series I've purchased

I have an aging HP laptop that was nearly unusable. I cloned the old drive, slapped this new one in, and the laptop has a new lease on life. Yes, it's that dramatic. If you haven't caught on, switching to SSD is the way to reinvigorate an aging computer. At these prices, it's a no-brainer. Go with Samsung. The reputation is there for good reason.

Learning curve

After a day or two of trying to get the migration software to work... I discovered, after much searching, that you have to initialize the disk in disk management. Once that was done the pc and migration software had no problem and worked on first try there after. Speeds are as advertised and brought my three year old laptop up to the current model spec.

Great SSD for Gaming Desktop

I only gave 4 out of five because I have never had an ssd before so I’m not exactly an expert IT analyst. Geek squad put it in for me and the system runs like an animal. Very fast boot up when powering on. Reasonable price as well.
