Excellent ssd

Great Drive at an Excellent Price

Samsung EVO 860 SATA SSDs

Purchase three of these over time and for direct Windows imaging you can use the Samsung tools from the Web. For doing Dual Boot (linux and Windows) you'll need to find another utility to ensure that Grub gets copied correctly...I had success with macrium reflect to get the entire HDD copied and keep both OSes available to boot from, etc.

Great SSD

There are faster versions with longer guarantees and faster speeds but they cost considerably more. If you get down to it most of us cannot really tell the difference in read/write speed between the EVO and PRO series SSDs. I have never had a Samsung SSD fail. Samsung's software is very helpful in monitoring and maintaining SSD health and reliability.
