This drive is much better than stock drives, even in new machines. This has made my machine 10x faster than the garbage stock drive. My battery runs 2x longer now as well.

Amazing increase in speed of operation

He complained it was running slowly. The machine was pretty clean and had no infections -- he doesn't use it for much other than email and light web browsing/research. I imaged over the old drive to the new Samsung, hooked it up with the existing power and sata cable. The whole thing took less than 30 minutes. He's very happy with the speed now.

Good drive, weak cloning tool.

The cloning software from Samsung is weak and it took me days to find a free one that would allow me to copy more than 2 partitions and resize them. Buying a cloning software would have doubled the price.
