I had hoped replacing my old hard drive would help speed up my laptop, but I had no idea it could be this fast! No more frustration of waiting...and waiting... And, it was easy to do! The software made setup easy. SSD is the way to go!

The Samsung 500GB 860 EVO internal solid state drive has proven to be a very reliable storage medium for my personal PC. It boots up my Windows 7 operating system quickly and flawlessly. I really enjoy the performance of this drive.

I heard good things about the Samsung SSD hard drives and they were not mistaken. It's a quality drive and easy to configure. I would recommend this to all my friends.

Upgrading the storage capacity on a laptop or desktop is always recommended with an SSD. I tried some other brands but this one is my favorite because of the price, the speed and the warranty.

I bought this because the hardrive on my desktop failed. I regret not getting a SSD sooner, my computer feels faster and boots up really quick now. I can't speak for longevity but I hope it lasts a while.

Easy setup and great performance. I upgraded from a failed standard internal hard drive to this solid state and love it. I did have to reformat for my mac but it's super easy to do.

I installed the 860 EVO into an older laptop. It was easy to install the the software downloaded from Sansung. Now my computer is at least five times faster than before. The hard drive is the best I have used.

I originally purchased this for my desktop but a older desktop had a few issues, so I added to my laptop and major difference in performance. I would highly recommend this SSD if you don't like to wait.

This SSD is one of the best in its class in terms of speed. Also highly recommend a SSD to anyone that is still using the older hard disk drive and wants more performance. It can make an old computer faster than it was brand new.

This Samsung 860 Evo SSD is an amazing upgrade to any laptop or PC. I personally upgraded my HDD in my laptop to this SSD and it is a drastic difference. I am very happy with the product and would love to buy more.

I actually bought two of these, had them installed in each of my boys' laptops to improve the speed and performance of their games. Installation was free with the Geek Squad Total Tech Support. Money well spent!

Purchased this to replace a hard drive in HP computer which failed in under 2 years. So far so good with this one. It is quite and fast on start up. Best Buy did a great job with the installation too.

Upgraded from my 1TB hard drive to this and holy cow everything is way faster. I used to click on Adobe Illustrator CC and then go back to other tasks while waiting for ut to boot up. Now it starts in about 10-13 seconds.

I finally replaced my old laptop drive within SSD. The performance of the laptop immediately had a huge improvement. The drive performance is great and is a simple drop in replacement for laptop drive that came with the laptop.

Worth it. If you're considering Samsung, do it. Popped this in an MSI GT70 and it's performing flawlessly. Faaaast! Easy migration with Samsungs provided software. Went smoother than I thought it would. Good buy? Best buy! Boom.

Got this for my PC, and it blows the old mechanical HDD away. My boot times and everything in general is much faster. Came with drive cloning software so it was easy to transfer all windows data to the new drive.

The drive worked perfectly. Once the data was copied from the original, putting this drive back in was easy. The drive is fast and seems reliable so far - everything I expected it to be.

Replaced my hybrid drive in my HP laptop with this drive, cloned the drives so nothing changed. After replacing there was a noticeable improvement in Boot up, speed of Windows and loading of apps. Well worth the investment.

I have used SSD's from several vendors, and all the major brands seem good. The differentiator for me is Samsung's Data Migration software (which one downloads). Every time I have used it when replacing a mechanical HDD with a new SSD, the new drive boots correctly every time. Unfortunately, I've not had consistent success with migration / cloning software from other vendors, and I've wasted a lot of time figuring out what to do. The Samsung EVO 860 drives cost a bit more, but for me, the ease of cloning / migrating is worth it.
