Amazing speed and reliability! As a tech in the industry, I've used at least 75 Samsung SSDs of all models and so far great outcome!

This drive is in my gaming rig even though I dont play games on it. Boot up is real quick and so is shutdown. Copying to the drive is fast I got 105mbps. I will be buying another one soon to install games on.

The EVO series of drives are are hard to beat. I've owned several, and have not had a single hiccough from any of them. They are not the cheapest out there, but they are worth it.

This is a product I'd recommend to anyone, the ssd itself is very fast and reliable, well made and from a very trusted brand. I used it in my laptop computer and it now feels like a brand new computer.

This is a solid hard drive (no pun intended) easy to install, upgraded my 5 year old MacBook Pro and it runs like a brand new machine. No issues so far, but I have never gone wrong with Samsung branded SSDs

I now have these drives in 2 laptops and a desktop. Easy to install, samsung data migration software works great, no problems to report. A must have upgrade for any computer.The difference in boot time is amazing

I've owned one of these for 2 years now and it's still just as fast as Day 1! These drives are fast and great and fit the bill to turn any desktop or laptop into a quick boot machine! Highly recommended!

love my Samsung - 860 EVO 500GB Internal SATA Solid State Drive enough to have bought one for my wife's computer. excellent SSD and a great way to infuse new life into an older computer. highly recommend it.

SSD's are much faster than hard drives and should be considered when data transfer rates are important. The price of this drive and it's size make it a good choice when replacing or adding a drive to your system.

Needed to replace my SSD Drive for my PC. This bad boy did the trick and is really fast. The higher price is totally worth it for this drive. Plan on getting another one!

Used it for OS and any other boot services I had and works like a charm. Was good for a budget build where I will have games stored on a separate drive eventually.

My old hard drive took a minute and a half to boot to the sign in screen. Now with the 860EVO it takes less then ten seconds. Once up to my desk top with the old drive I would walk away for ten minutes because he system would not respond to anything I clicked. Now the system is ready in around ten seconds. With old drive it took thirty seconds to just open word, now it’s around two seconds. I brought my all in one system in and had the geek squad install the drive and clone over the old drive. I went from a slow go kart to a Porsche for a little over two hundred bucks.

Fast and works as described. Excellent for the price. Had to format with another application to get windows 10 to recognize it. Needed a usb to SATA cable for this.

Very quiet and cool temperatures. Quick reads and writes for any type of desktop computer build. Samsung is the manufacturer and technology leader of tbe 3d nand stack technology so why not buy it from them.

Samsung is my preferred brand for SSDs. I have installed on 4 different computers for different applications. They all have worked incredibly well from speed and reliability standpoint.

SSD are sooooooo much better than Sata HD's..... Computers seem to love them. Smooth operation, rapid responses, minimal upkeep. You can't go wrong with an SSD.

Bought 4 of these drives and they are great. I'm using them as cache drives in a QNAP array. They are fast, reliable, and work very well. Highly recommended!

This thing saturates the SATA bus at around 600 MBps. Boot times are almost instant, and games load faster compared to spinning hard drives. Haven't had an issue with this yet.

I replaced an 120GB HP SSD with this Samsung and the difference is amazing. Don't let anyone tell you that all SSDs are alike, this one is much faster than the HP SSD that I replaced. Easy install.
