Fast SSD

Easy to transfer data from old hard drive

I would say do it and you will see a huge improvement in load times . Even good for PlayStation users I put one in my pro and liked the performance so much I went and got this one for my desk top and I’m beyond happy . Samsung really makes top of the line ssd and offers free software to use for monitoring performance of the drive . It’s simple to use and understand and even clone your old drive for smooth transition . Bottom line get your ssd and make sure it’s Samsung .

Needed a larger SSD. Simple to install and fast

Great for upgrading older PCs

We have lots of older laptops with 500GB Hard drives that have been spinning 3-4 years, and just start to lack performance over time. This SSD is our best solution to provide enhanced performance without replacing the entire PC. I've upgraded our Finance and Accounting departments in many locations. Just download the Samsung Data Migration software, clone the existing drive to your new SSD, and bam, magic. The computer has come back alive. Pair it with a RAM upgrade for the ultimate upgrade.

Excellent Product

One system is a Lenovo T410 Laptop and the other is a Lenovo B520 All-In-One. The migration was very straight forward using the following tools: UGreen USB 3.0 to SATA Converter Cable with 2A Power Adapter, Fenlink 2.5" to 3.5" Internal SSD Drive Converter Tray (for the All-In-One) and Macrium Reflect 7 Free Edition. There are several YouTube videos on this migration. The migration went very well and the Samsun SSDs have worked flawlessly. Performance, especially Windows boot time, is vastly improved. Happy camper here.

Great improvement to laptop performance
