I have used several of these drives in the past. They are fast and reliable and the Samsung software makes migrating data a snap.

So far so good. Brought new life to an old laptop. Fast start up boot. Bought a 850 EVO 4 years ago for desktop and still preforms great.

Computer runs superfast, plus I trust Samsung, very important to buy a trusted band, SSDs are very delicate, you cannot recover data like the old ones.

This drive was just what was needed to replace and old 500GB drive. The speed is a definite boost for a system. Easy to install.

I am a fan of the Samsung EVO's, and I use them in every computer I work on or build. They are very reliable and easy to use. The only downside to them, they are not sold with a mounting tray or cables. As such, you will need to make sure you have the proper cables and you might have to buy a tray in order to actually install the drive.

Used this to replace my daughter's spinny-platter drive in her little laptop. She was complaining that it was so very slow, and that trying to do anything with it took forever. This SSD has sped up the performance tremendously. The Samsung software was a bit challenging as it didn't recognize the drive until I figured out how to initialize it in Windows 10 first. I was hoping to plug & play. Data transfer turned out to be easy - included s/w duplicated directly. Thankfully I had an external USB adapter already for a sata drive or this would have been impossible.

Got this to add to my laptop and boost the storage and speed. Got a great deal for this size drive and I’m very satisfied with the results

500 GB's for$110? A steal I tell you. Especially for a Samsung, which is the best brand. More than enough space for a normal person, good boot drive for me.
