I bought the first one when I built my PC. I did not want to cheap out on my main hard drive, but the issue was that it filled up pretty fast. I should have bought the 1TB hard drive but I didn't have the money at the time. The drive boots up fast, and I use the main drive for work and the second for holding all my games. I really like these, and would buy another if I ever need more space.

Samsung makes the best SSDs

However I would highly recommend researching and reading up about SSD / Flash Memory and "Wear Leveling". In short don't fill the drive to maximum storage capacity and it will even last longer. So don't let what I just wrote scare you away. Just be aware of it to get the most out of your purchase. BTW, I have Never had any problems out of my Samsung SD and Micro SD cards over the years.

Good SSD

Have been using it as an external SSD by using a USB 3.0 cable to store files. Should be more reliable than external HD that fail sometimes. Only thing, more expensive than Sandisk and WD SSDs which I prefer because of good free cloning software.

This quality SSD bright an eight year old MacBook!

The next day I installed cloned the drives with the data to usb 3 cable and installed them in to 2012 MacBook pros. Our computers once again outperform 2019 laptops. Great product don’t skimp on the SSD. Get this Samsung eco 960.
