Speed and reliability is what keeps me getting Samsung EVO SSDs, the 860 series is no exception.

This a very good hard disk. Upgrading to SSD was worth. It's fast and super quiet. I barely hear any hard disk sound on my computer anymore. Highly recommend SSD drive and the price for this one at Best Buy was just right.

I was sick and tired waiting for my 1TB 5700rpm standard hard drive to boot every time I needed my PC to boot, so I installed this Samsung SSD after utilizing the Samsung Magellan mirroring software to copy my existing hard drive which was actually fairly easy for me as a first time hard drive swapper. Everything went smooth and my 5 year old Lenovo lap top now performs better then it did when it was brand new.

Fast, good amount of storage, have always had great results from Samsung SSD since 840 series.

Amazing, as usual. I run nothing but Samsung EVO ssds because they are simply the best. I have 2 1tb and 1 500gb in my custom gaming rig and this one went into my wifes gaming rig that I built for her. Performance is best in class as is the durability. If you are saving a couple of bucks by going with a different brand you need to rethink it.

Boot in less than 15 seconds. Turned my older laptop into a new machine.

My old Dell laptop was dead slow and will take a long time to boot, I replaced the hard drive with this internal SSD and booting time is literally reduced to few seconds. Awesome! PS: Had to purchase extra cable to transfer data from HDD to SSD.

You cant beat a samsung solid state Hard Drive...The price, size and quality you cant beat it.

The hard drive took a crap on one of my laptops. Not knowing the difference in drives I just went with what was recommended by Geek Squad. As of now no problems at all. Having TTS gives me piece of mind. Geek Squad has always been great with their recommendations for my electronics when they break. Thanks again, and so far so good. With that said I would reccomend a SS hard drive if you need to replace one.

I updated my 2012 MacBook Pro with two Samsung EVO drives (I replaced my DVD drive with an SSD drive bay in order to add the second drive). These drives are top notch. Super fast performance. My eight year old laptop performs faster than my brother in law's 2018 MacBook Pro plus the internal temperature has dropped drastically. Best upgrade I've ever done!

This was a nice upgrade for my Macbook Pro mid-2012 model. Before the upgrade, my computer was so slow - it took 20 minutes just to turn it on and have it functioning - I avoided using it. After the upgrade, my computer would open up right away when turned on. Very nice and fast!

never used this type of hard drive before till a co-worker told me about this little hard drive, thought i would try it out since i was having some issues with my older hard drive. could not believe the quality of this little thing, when turn on pc boom its fully loaded and start your fun on your pc, The fastest hard drive.

great price, solid product. SSD makes my old laptop live again.

The 250GB version costed $50, and this 500GB version costed $70 or so. Worth the extra $20 for double the memory. Couldn't make myself get the next step up. So far so good though. It's working on my new and first pc build. I'm just hopeing I don't have to manage running out of space like I did on my old 500GB PS4. Then again, I have an external hard drive for programs I don't frequently use.
