The Samsung SSD has always been a top performer and has industry leading reliability. This drive comes with a 5 year warranty. I've had one in my 2011 Mac, since 2013 and it's still going strong. I replaced the standard mechanical drive in my Dell Gaming PC, with a new Samsung SSD, and the performance is top notch. Overall, you can't go wrong purchasing a Samsung SSD drive.

I'm using two 10 year old labtops, one is a Dell the other a Gateway, both have Core i5 chipsets running Win 10 home. I'm cloning C: drives for them both to speed them up and also continue to use my 2010 OFFICE software so I don't have to pay subscription fees. This one worked perfectly; I will be buying another SSD like this one for the Gateway.

This is the best upgrade you can make to a computer; this drive is the fastest I can find in real world use. The only thing better is the Samsung NVMe drives, but if you don’t have a space for that in your computer then this is the way to go! Even comes with software to migrate your existing system to the new drive, even if the new drive is smaller than your current one.

Love these drives, easy to install and very reliable

Maybe I'm being overly cautious or inconsiderate of other brands, but every time I've gotten an SSD for any device, I've stuck with Samsung. I don't really utilize their Wizard software, or whatever it's called, but the drives themselves are lightning fast and have great warranties on them. I've never had an issue with Samsung SSDs, thankfully, so I'll stick with them for now.

Upgraded my wife’s laptop from a regular Hard drive to this solid state drive. It boots up 4 times faster than before. Also saving stuff is also sped up do to the write and read speeds are much faster. Remember just to use the cloning software from Samsung which makes it easy to transfer your stuff from your old hard drive.

This was my 4th Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SSD. I have used these before to clone and then replace hard drives in notebook computers. With the free downloadable software available from Samsung it makes the cloning so simple. This drive was used to replace a failing hard drive in a Dell USFF computer. Again so easy and smooth process. These drives handle my needs perfectly.

I Brought my laptop in for servicing with geek squad. My computer had been running slow for the past year and it was becoming a hassle to use. The rep suggested backing up my files on a hard drive (which they did for me) and then they told me about the benefits of putting in a new SSD. My laptop runs like its brand new. So far so good!
