Great SSD! Upgraded my PS4!

They are great! It’s a night and day difference coming from whatever hard drive was in our old ones. If you’re wondering what size SSD to get — 500 GB is a great starting place for just about anything. The Samsung Evo’s are great!

A great SSD for Mac Mini!

I cloned the drive externally and then dropped it in using instructions from ifixit. It worked with no problems and increased the speed and responsiveness so much! I highly recommend this SSD, and Samsung’s SSD quality is well known.

Like having a new computer

Converted my old standard hard drive to a mirrored boot drive. It took about 1 hour and 15 minutes - worked flawlessly. Now, my computer boots in about 30 seconds. Awesome and saved buying new computers. Also, it is extremely fast now.

The Best!

Could not be happier! The Mac Mini now acts like a brand new machine. Lightning fast! Plus, it is quieter and runs cooler. Well worth every penny.

Space needed

With e learning and a very rough 12 year, I didn't want to invest in a new company so my IT guy installed this gem and we are back in business. This will at least give my 6th grader accurate storage for school. Very happy with purchase.

EVO not QVO

Never a problem, quick start up and access. Was going to upgrade just to get some extra space, but BB selling lower quality QVO. Will wait for higer capacity EVO and use this one as sys/program drive or toss in a laptop

Don't use Samsung software!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would give this drive a 5 star review except for the simple fact that the Samsung recommended software download for installation and prepping is totally disastrous! It will screw up all boot sectors on any other drive that is active! So unplug all your other drives and be safe before doing anything with this along the lines of cloning. Actually don't use the Samsung cloning garbage software at all. Use another brand that is known for doing such tasks such as Acronis. AS far as the SSD part of the puzzle, the drive so far runs. It seems to be okay. Just in case I do have backups on Intel SSDs (more expensive-more reliable). I got this drive due to the simple fact I needed something right away and Intel drives are not readily available at BB.
