Solid build, seems to be working great. Made a huge difference in the speed of loading windows 10 and its programs, Games almost load instantly now. I wish I knew an SSD storage would make this much difference in my system. I would have upgraded sooner.

Just upgraded to this 500GB SATA Solid State Drive (SSD) from a standard hard drive for me Boot up drive. It use to take about three (3) minutes or so to boot up my computer, with this SSD, it now takes about 20 seconds. Don't really need to say more; do I?

It was a breeze to copy the old drive onto the new Samsung SSD. The unit comes with Samsung Magician (-SM-) that helps users copy and transfer the data from the old drive. SM also helps check the status of the disk.

Bought this to repair a laptop that had an unfortunate mishap. The SSD made a night and day difference on how fast and seamless this machine is now. It has never operated or booted up as fast as it does now. Not even when it was new. Programs load allmost instantly! Great upgrade for any pc or laptop.

Very high quality SSD from Samsung, partnered with a good PC with an adiqute amount of RAM and a SATA 3.0 cable, amazing read and write speeds as well as being able to install your OS onto it and booting fairly quick, would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their storage on a desktop or laptop

My laptop is a few years old, and I needed a new hard drive. So I chose this product, as it is durable, effective and has lots of room on it. It was more affordable, too, than buying a new laptop. I am not mechanically inclined, so I did have it installed professionally.

Good product from Samsung. Installed on a 2007 HP laptop (yes 2007!) and getting better performance. My go to for SSD's is Samsung and they seem to be well built and perform great. One of the easier ways to improve performance and boot up speed.

Samsung makes some of the most reliable and best performing SATA SSD's available. I have purchased and installed about 8 of them in the last few years without a problem and they all have provided a tremendous performance boost over any regular spinning HD. Samsung is my preferred brand for an SSD.

It is incredible how fast this SSD drive is. When I switched it out from my HDD in my samsung flip 7, it went from a 2-3 minute sign in, waiting for everything to load. I now literally open up my laptop and I am using it, withing 5-9 seconds. Love samsung products. High quality and proven to last.

The Samsung - 860 EVO 500GB Internal SATA Solid State Drive has performed superbly in my laptop computer. It is extremely fast and has never had any problems. It has received ratings as one of the highest quality and performing SSDs on the market.

Setup on my 9 year old MacBook Pro was fairly simple. Used Apple's built in disk utilities to set it up; and was done, up, and running in no time. I only intended to prolong it's life long enough to buy another, but it now loads and runs so surprisingly fast... I plan to keep on using it for a while longer.

High quality drive at a fair price. I wanted something that I could be confident in regarding quality. This drive performs well and I have not had any problems since it was purchased. You can't really go wrong with a Samsung product.

This made a massive difference after installing this in my Playstation 4. If you have a ps4 slowing down always lagging in the menu. This will be night and day for the speed of a new console. Not so much internet speed but hardware efficiency.

I have a laptop that is a few years old, but still runs great. It just had very slow boot and load times. My laptop fortunately has a second hard drive bay. By cloning my hard drive and setting this ssd as the boot drive, new life was breathed in to my computer, and now it is quick as could be.

I bought this SSD to replace the HDD in my old Laptop based on a suggestion from a friend instead of buying a new laptop. After purchasing this and replacing my old HDD, my Laptop performs well just like a new one, I definitely saved plenty of dollars.

Previous Intel SSD developed problems. Just realized the other 4 Samsung SSD's were still running fine and saw a good price reduction at BestBuy on this drive so got it. Hoping not to have to worry about this one for a *long* time.

Needed a quick fix on my son’s gaming pc, knew immediately what to do. This drive paired with Samsung’s migration tool makes the swap super easy and buying at Best Buy meant I didn’t have to wait. Had him back up and running in less than 2 hours even with driving to the store to get it!

Installed in a 2012 Mac mini with a new copy of Mac OS. The Mac easily recognized the drive, quickly formatted and installed the new OS. Paired this drive with 2 new 8gb sticks of ram and brought a old device back to life for a few more years.

Already had the 1TB version, bought this for a tower I built out of older hardware and gifted to my sister. Needless to say, this was integral to making that tower run games much better than her old first model Xbox One. Love Samsung SSD's
