I bought this one a long time ago to upgrade my mid 2009 Macbook Pro and i've been loving it ever since i installed it. This time i bought the same one to update my 2010 Window 7 desktop PC and the PC is so much faster now.

Item made for desktop PC's or laptops ! Don't know why is listed as " for Laptops ".Seems just as fast as all the media outlet benchmarks claim. Was on sale; wanted two 1 TB models but out of local stock so settled for 500 GB. Can't really go wrong with the Evo series.

I don't trust anyone but Samsung for my SSDs. I've owned every brand out there, and Samsung has proven to be the most dependable and best performing drives. Especially if it's going to serve as your boot drive, don't cheap out on the SSD. Go Samsung and don't look back

I have used Samsung 860 EVO before in one of my builds for a family member. I have faith that this product will work good for a long time. I haven't had any issue with this product before, Good product for the price I paid for it.

I replaced my hard drive with this ssd, the changing of speed is amazing. I used date migration, it is so easy,I think this is one of the advantage of samsung ssd. I think I will do the same thing for my another computer.

Some say there are better SSDs out there, and I'm sure there are. However, I know what I am getting when I choose this product so when I needed more hard drive space for my pc build in a hurry, there wasn't much to it. Great SSD for a much greater price than it used to be!

I bought an older laptop and decided to upgrade it. It had a 500 GIG had drive, so I put a 500 GIG ssd drive in it. This particular laptop got considerably faster. I think Samsung ssd drives are the best. I use them when I can.

This is a great SSD. Samsung is the only brand I trust for SSDs even though there are other good ones I'm sure. What a difference it has made for productivity and gaming pleasure. The speed difference between an SSD and a traditional HDD is incomparable. Don't hesitate!

Installed this SSD to replace a hard drive in my desktop computer. Downloaded the Samsung Data Migration program and easily transferred everything from my old hard drive to this SSD. It worked immediately when I installed it after the transfer. Very happy with it!

These drives are very affordable, and easy to clone your old, slow, loud, spinning drive over to with their Data Migration Tool. And then optimize the drive for better performance and longer life with Samsung Magician. I own dozens and dozend of these!!

Helped my computer come back to life...my macbook late 2011 came back to life in speed and dependability...why buy a new mac for thousands when with 200 bucks of ssd and ram you can get the old one to work like new. Totally recommend.

Bought it to upgrade a 8 year old desktop PC of my friend- Great performance. Reads and writes as fast as the SATA3/ 600 Mb/s bus can keep up. -Prices keep coming down for Solid State devices and it's just great overall.

I think Samsung is the best mainstream in the market. However, it's a bit pricey and for most people, the premium demanded by the 860 Evo simply won’t be worth it. But overall, I believe it's an excellent and super fast device.

If you’re considering getting this drive, just do it. It’s well built, pretty fast, super popular, and a decent value. I use it for short term/working storage for professional video projects, as well as photography and music projects. It’s been great so far.

If you get at discount price, its the best. I've bought these for personal and work so many times. For work its awesome because you can use Samsung Migration tool, so migrated HDD to SSD. And works like a charm.

I bought this to upgrade a 2012 iMac from a hard drive to an SDD drive. It made my iMac 100x faster and it’s become my main computer wheel i’m home from college over my laptop. Huge fan of what this SSD did to my computer!

Purchased on sale and had Geek Squad install it on a 2016 Mac Mini that had a 1 TB regular hard drive. What difference, gave my Mac Mini new life. Starts up quicker, programs open up faster. Great way to extend the life of a computer.

My old laptop was really slow. Once I installed this it’s way faster like night and day difference. Beats buying a new laptop every 4 years. Works great and I recommend trying this before buying a new laptop

I have a nearly 9 year old CyberPower desktop with an Asus P6T Motherboard and wanted to eliminate a potential point of failure to eek out a little more longevity. And if I got some enhanced performance, all the better. Turns out it was a very good move.
