Replaced bad ssd on my desktop. Now my computer has no more error screen and loads up fast. Was on sale and available right away for pick-up at my local store

While Crucial may be cheaper I have zero problems with Samsung SSDs. Easy to install works on both MAC or PC. I do wish they would include or have a link to their cloning software for Windows 9it can be found on Samsungs site). Makes upgrading easier.

I replaced my MBP mid 2012 15” HDD with this ssd. I did increase the speed by quite a while and also the laptop life by a couple of years. PS. Also upgraded my Ram to 16gb a couple of years before this update.

Fantastic Drive Easy to use Migration Software Originally bought a 500gb to migrate OS to but it was easier to buy a larger drive to migrate everything to use my old HDD as a storage drive. Great Product. But recommend going bigger

When it comes to SSD's, I always by samsung. I have used many of them, and they have never failed yet. They just work without and problems, and I have not had any fail yet, and I have been using them for many years. It is always a safe buy.

Great value and worked right our of the box. I used mine as an additional disk for my work pc. I store my VM's on this SSM for fast access.

This drive is the second that I have installed in 2011 - 2012 MacBook Pros in our home. Both installs have substantially improved boot time and overall operation of the computers. Highly recommended!

Upgraded the hard drive and it exceeded my expectations on system performance. It made the system at least 4x faster. Boots up and shuts down very fast. Applications and files open almost instantly. I highly recommend it!!!

I am addicted to Samsung 860's. Never had one fail even in a RAID 0 array for performance. I now use mostly M.2 configuration for new builds and I expect the same performance. Highly recommended for reliability.

I gave this 4 stars and not 5 which might be unfair to Samsung. It was easy to install, setup and cloned an existing drive. I did test it, but didn’t put it through the ringer to fully test it. It preformed exactly as advertised I just can’t talk to much for its performance and speed. I cloned my sons expensive gaming pc so if something ever went wrong we could clone that drive on a new drive so he wouldn’t miss a beat. He has a special skill for screwing things up.

Very happy with this purchase! I was able to take a three year old laptop that was not functioning to working like new. Installation was relatively easy for me due to the help info available on the net.

I need to update an old laptop to a higher sized SSD. I got this at a decent price using my rewards points. I did not clone the hard drive, since I wanted to start fresh. Downloaded and installed Windows 10 and was super fast with the installation.

This drive is great. I used this to replace a mechanical drive in an older (but still Pentium i5 processor) PC. There was a nice performance increase right away. The old PC has new life. No longer waiting around for it to boot up, or load web pages.

Easy to use. Since I was moving from a Samsung drive to a Samsung drive the free drive migration software worked great. But only works between Samsung products. Great product, look forward to years of use.

Purchased this to replace a non-working 125GB SSD in my 2012 ASUS gaming laptop. Placed into unit and reinstalled a clean windows 10 OS. I'm happy to say the old ASUS gaming laptop is up and running better and faster than ever.

My windows 7 PC was starting to run very slow and I have software that is incompatible with win 10. It appears I was beginning to have hard drive problems. By replacing the HD with this Samsung SSD I got full speed and function back. Thrilled.

Bought it to replace my hard drive on my MacBook. Simple as plug and play. My old MacBook Pro works so much better now.

This is the second of this model which I purchased for a second laptop. They are incredibly fast and brought both laptops to better than new condition. I cannot recommend this brand and model highly enough.

Geek squad suggested to me that I could benefit from a new hard drive on my laptop. Didn’t even know you could do that. What an improvement in the speed of my laptop. Their suggestion was greatly appreciated.
