Got the Geek Squad to upgrade my desktop C drive to 500GB and that was great. Musch faster on games and system load-ups. They moved all the programs to the new C and very well satisfied. Good job and the drive is fast and consistent.

Great SSD, a little pricey but the software that comes with Samsung SSD's is great. Easily transfer data from old drives or even migrate entire windows system. Owned 1 for over a year, this is my second purchase.

I bought this as an overflow drive to extend the life of my otherwise well-functioning Dell Precision laptop. As my primary driver was an M2 ssd, I had an empty SATA slot which fit this drive perfectly. So far so good; it mounted and formatted easily and I'm using it every day. The only drawback is that it didn't come with any screws, which is a travesty considering that M2.5 screws are necessary (4x in my case) but not something you can just go buy at home depot.

My computer was 6 years old and was slow when getting on the internet and other things like microsoft products. had geek squad install this for pretty cheap and man..my computer is like a new machine..thank for the recommend geek squad.

This was my first time using a Samsung drive and I use it for professional filmmaking hardware. I was truly surprised to see that it was able to read really fast and keep up. I recommend this drive for recording or just to store data.

I love these drives and the software that you can get for them. It just makes transferring data so much easier compared to a sandisk I bought. Anyway I just bought a new one 870=awesome drive

Installed into laptop with bad HDD, significantly improved performance. This fixed my issue and the price point is great! If you don’t know what you’re doing installing this in a laptop, make sure to do your research.

Replaced internal hard drive with this drive... noticed a big difference in speed during startup and when opening apps and files. Highly recommend upgrading your computer's hard drive with this SSD if you are looking at giving your old computer a boost.

I have tried various brands of SSD drives and Samsung, specifically this drive, has proven to be my best experience thus far. Zero errors, quick response, fast data transfers. 500GB real numbers rather than multiples of 120GB. 20GB is significant.

Replaced my traditional laptop drive with this SSD, resulting in significant improvements in speed, reduced startup and shutdown times, and better performance for multitasking. Highly recommended for a reasonably priced upgrade.

This SSD is great. It is my second one. The 850 EVO was the previous purchase (4 years ago). Both SSD are going well. Only tip is to make sure that if you are using it as a boot drive to unplug your old hard drive and freshly install windows.

There was something wrong with my PS4 and I narrowed it down to a faulty hard drive. Bought this solid state drive figuring it would at least speed up processing/down loading times a little, even if it didn't completely fix my laggy system. Turns out, it was just the cure! Incredible how much faster my PS4 is now! Why didn't I do this sooner...? My only complaint is the price for solid state HDDs are so much higher than disk drives. Had to downsize from a 1TB disk drive, to this 500 GB solid state drive, to keep cost down.

Samsung 860 EVO 500GB Internal SATA Solid State Drive has consistently led the reviews in performance and affordability. I typically look to Intel or Western Digital for my drives, but this was a great value and so far, has been flawless.

This is a drive where you truly get what you pay for its not the cheapest but the performance makes it worth the extra money you spend. Was so happy with the first one I bought a second. When it comes to SSD Samsung just does it the best.

Have been using the Samsung EVO series SSD at home and at work for about 4 years.. Will buy the same model again in the future.. No problems.. which is what we all want.. good support.

Samsung makes great SSD products. An older model had started to show some flakiness so I purchased a new one to upgrade to with higher capacity

I decided to finally upgrade my PC and this SSD was just a no brainer. I hooked everything up, and followed on screen instructions from Samsung on how to move Windows from my HDD to the SSD, and it did the rest. Couldn't be happier!

I replaced an older 120GB SSD with this faster, larger capacity model and it worked perfectly out of the box. Nicely compatible with my Linux barebones system. I'll be looking to get a second for my Windows system.
