Replacement drive for a Dell Latitude E6330 dual booting Windows 7 Pro @ Linux Mint KDE 17.3 & xFce. Downloading and installing software is very fast, Have had no issues with this drive, I plan to upgrade my MacBookPro with 1Tb drive.

Bought an all in one desktop and realized it did not had a cd drive, bought this one and plug and play and super easy. Problem fixed. Plus allows me to burn photos for family and friends on cd or DVD if they want copies.

Most importantly, this drive extends the life of a nearly 10 year old PC by making the time to boot go from7 minutes to 22 seconds. The PC is quieter, the drive doesn’t get hot, Data access is multiple times faster and energy use is lower. Are used to keep computers for 4 to 6 years, but with this type of drive I can add several more years to the useful life of the PC. Of course, I’m not doing state of the art gaming. But, for just doing your taxes and using Microsoft office and browsing the net this will breathe life into an old PC and make it like new.

I only buy Samsung SSD's as I'm changing over my hard drives. It's primarily because their software makes it so easy to clone or setup the disc. It's the easiest, and it will only work when it knows it's a Samsung SSD.

Replaced a hard disk in an old laptop that I keep around as a backup for school and work. Difference is night and day. This thing is lighting fast and now I use the laptop as a test machine for programs with heavy I/O. Works great.

I purchased 3, 2 for Lenovo Flex 4 laptops and one for my homegrown Plex server. Make sure and install the Samsung Magician software, so you can update the firmware and keep it up to date. It's been 2 months and all 3 are working great.

There is no question, Samsung EVO SSD's are my only choice for SSD's. I have had no issues and believe it or not I am on my 7th Samsung SSD... because I adopted early and upgrade my computers about every 6 months... never had an issue.

Samsung makes great SSD products. An older model had started to show some flakiness so I purchased a new one to upgrade to with higher capacity

Ice had to many ssd's from so many different mfgrs and you simply can not compare that Samsung drives to almost any other drive in terms of performance and stability slightly more expensive than most but definitely worth it

An SSD, is you need 500 gb and want something reliable get this. I used this to switch my laptop to running Ubuntu while preserving my Windows install on the original storage drive from the laptop.

Speed up your older SATA computer. This will do it. Fast read and write speeds. Solid state isn't just the name. I've not had any problems with the 25 I've put in my company's computers.

Used this to replace the system disk in a Windows 7 computer that was upgraded with a clean install of Windows 10. The installation disk recognized and formatted the SSD without any problems. The speed of the system is impressive.

Had an older computer that needed a boost, read a bunch of reviews about adding a SSD but really didn't believe it but let tell you it worked. My old computer is flying, just like new. Recommend it will not go back to traditional HDD.
