So far so good. My mom in laws PC has a I-5 processor but was achingly slow. Doing basis updates would take me hours. I am the family PC tech for her and others and nothing I did could speed it up until I bought this. I had a little problem cloning a 1 TB drive to a 500 GB one but finally worked it out and it made a major difference. Now a few minutes for updates, lots cheaper than a new PC, a lot more responsive and I used the old mechanical drive as a secondary storage unit.

First of all, Best Buy is amazing. I ordered this on Thursday night at 6 o’clock and received it Friday morning at 10:30 AM all with free shipping. Most importantly, this drive extends the life of a nearly 10 year old PC by making the time to boot go from7 minutes to 22 seconds. The PC is quieter, the drive doesn’t get hot, Data access is multiple times faster and energy use is lower. Are used to keep computers for 4 to 6 years, but with this type of drive I can add several more years to the useful life of the PC. Of course, I’m not doing state of the art gaming. But, for just doing your taxes and using Microsoft office and browsing the net this will breathe life into an old PC and make it like new.

Bought an all in one desktop and realized it did not had a cd drive, bought this one and plug and play and super easy. Problem fixed. Plus allows me to burn photos for family and friends on cd or DVD if they want copies.

Replacement drive for a Dell Latitude E6330 dual booting Windows 7 Pro @ Linux Mint KDE 17.3 & xFce. Downloading and installing software is very fast, Have had no issues with this drive, I plan to upgrade my MacBookPro with 1Tb drive.

My laptop was so slow. It was new, and a decent machine, but took forever to start up, even the simplest things. Popped in this new hard drive and its better than ever, lightning fast, responsive. I use it much more now than before.

I only buy Samsung SSD's as I'm changing over my hard drives. It's primarily because their software makes it so easy to clone or setup the disc. It's the easiest, and it will only work when it knows it's a Samsung SSD.

Activity on my desktop I5 PC were taking forever. Looking at performance stats I was constantly waiting on the disk drive. Plenty of memory and cpu power. Decided to replace disk drive with SSD. Result was a tremendous increase in performance.

Replaced a hard disk in an old laptop that I keep around as a backup for school and work. Difference is night and day. This thing is lighting fast and now I use the laptop as a test machine for programs with heavy I/O. Works great.

Speed up your older SATA computer. This will do it. Fast read and write speeds. Solid state isn't just the name. I've not had any problems with the 25 I've put in my company's computers.

This product is awesome. It has been less than a month since installation however at this point I highly recommend this SSD by Samsung a leader is solid state technology among other things.

An SSD, is you need 500 gb and want something reliable get this. I used this to switch my laptop to running Ubuntu while preserving my Windows install on the original storage drive from the laptop.

Easy to install and find a spot for the SSD to sit without blocking airflow through the case. The best part is the cloning software - it is flawless the first time. Excellant overall purchase for my needs.

There is no question, Samsung EVO SSD's are my only choice for SSD's. I have had no issues and believe it or not I am on my 7th Samsung SSD... because I adopted early and upgrade my computers about every 6 months... never had an issue.

I purchased 3, 2 for Lenovo Flex 4 laptops and one for my homegrown Plex server. Make sure and install the Samsung Magician software, so you can update the firmware and keep it up to date. It's been 2 months and all 3 are working great.

Ice had to many ssd's from so many different mfgrs and you simply can not compare that Samsung drives to almost any other drive in terms of performance and stability slightly more expensive than most but definitely worth it

Got this for the PS4 pro originally, now I’m using it with the PS5. Works great, has fast read write speeds and haven’t had any issues really. May need to get a larger capacity one down the road.

Bought for my ps4 due to the original hard drive failing. This new one runs so much faster now. Great item if ur looking to update the hd in the ps4. Heard it works even better on the ps4 pros.
