This thing is very, very fast. You'll never go back to spinning hard drives again, unless it's for saving your files. Put your operating system on this thing and start in 25% of the time.

Actually purchased this drive to go inside my MPC X. This unit is perfect and will last longer then you standard drives as SSD’s do not have any moving parts. The only thing is now the prices of SSD drives need to come down.

my laptop was running beyond slow and Geek Squad too the time to go over everything with me and suggested replacing the old drive with this new one. Once I got the laptop back, it ran like brand new.

I got this drive for my PS4 Pro when my 2TB Seagate Firecuda SSHD died after two years. This 860 EVO SSD is insane. The base system loads at blazing speeds, and games load seemingly twice as fast. Definitely worth the price.

Drive is fast and works as it should. If looking for ultimate performance and your MOBO has the capability, look into an M.2 drive though. I use this for my media so being limited by SATA to 6g/s isnt an issue.

Good price for Samsung storage. Drive does need to be formatted for Windows to recognize it, but works great now that I figured that out.

Upgraded a 6 year old HP laptop after current hard drive failed. Laptop is faster than first purchased, and boots up to desktop in 15 seconds. Runs much cooler as well. Highly recommended!

I bought this because this drive was highly recommended. I don't have direct experience with other drives. It was a direct replacement for a spindle type SATA drive, and instantly made my old MacBook Pro snappier.

Blazing fast SSD. Installed it on a 2012 MacBook Pro (13) that was pretty much retired. Combined with a RAM upgrade from 4 to 16gb, it is now the perfect laptop for remote learning.

Works as it should. I like the sleek design of this hard drive. It was a replacement for a drive that failed in my Mac mini. This drive has been great since i installed it a little less than two years ago.
