I bought this drive to use as my boot drive for my pc and it does not disappoint at all. My pc starts up in about 7-12 seconds and I even have a couple of games installed on there as well.

I mistakenly purchased a WD Internal SSD and it wasn't working. That's what I get for buying a bundle when building a PC. Get this or any Samsung SSD. Samsung is a great product and I can't recommend it enough.

I have changed my laptop drive and my mom's laptop drive for this and you can feel the difference, from booting to day to day operations. Pretty smooth. And even better that the price has went down lately. Highly recommended

Finally ran out of space on my 120 gig ssd main drive in my 7 year old PC. Added this and now I'm set. Added all my programs to this as well. No need to put them on a storage drive as there is plenty of room. Its fast!

I has a 1tb hdd and decided to buy a ssd. With all the information that I read on ssd the right one was Samsung 860 evo 500 gb. I glad I did because it is 2 to 3 times faster up loading and downloading.

I bought this today to replace my mechanical hdd. My laptop would take about 3 and a half minutes to boot up the where I can almost start using it. Installed this after cloning my hdd and I have it up and running in about 15 seconds

Upgraded my Lenovo HDD with this 2.5 SSD. Took very little effort and runs like a champ. I bought the m.2 version as well for my gaming laptop. Very reliable with strong performance

Replaced a 500 gig wd black 7200 rpm hdd that failed after 10 yesrs with this Samsung 500 gig ssd. What a difference. Much faster and so far, no complaints. Very easy to replace.

I read reviews on different SSDs. They all recommended this Samsung one. I am glad I picked this one up. The overall performance difference is very noticeable, when you transfer the operating system partition onto this drive.

I replace with tradional hard drive witch was faild in my Dell within 18 month. It was headech to transfer data but I did it and since then it working fine and quick start of my laptop. Have no problem. Nice drive.

This SSD is the perfect size for those of us that don't routinely clear out space on our hard drives (old photos, documents etc) while allowing a faster response time at start up.

I use this drive just for the operating system. It's super fast. All other software is on a separate 1000Gig solid state drive. This gives me plenty of extra room, and unbelievable speed.

I mostly purchase Samsung Evo's for myself and customer PC's and have not had any issues. Speeds are great and a great replacement on older systems with mechanical hard drives.

NO! I love it. I put it in my wife's laptop and the thing runs like a dream now. Easy to use with built in software. Couldn't ask for better. Ya done did good, son. I mean.. Sung.
