Replaced the drive in my mid-2009 MacBook Pro 15”. Also replaced the memory upgrading from 4 gb to 8 go. Was really slow before and now works about good as new! Recommend.

I bought this for my seven-year-old MacBook Pro. I had a lot of files to transfer. After I set it up, I immediately noticed the speed compared to my Mac’s stock hard drive.

Had an old computer that was so slow no one would use it. Replaced the hard drive with this SSD and it is like buying a new computer at 1/10 the price. This is the second upgrade we have done and they are great!

Great SSD. I currently use an M.2 SSD now, but for the price if you need an SSD, this is a solid go to. I got mine for around $120 before they started dropping a lot.

Very fast and a good upgrade as a main drive for older PC. I installed this in a 7 year old Dell Workstation and it sped up booting and overall performance by at least 40%.

This is currently being installed by GeekSquad. I haven't used the computer yet, but from what I've heard it's faster than the regular SATA drive. Hopefully, that would be true.

My laptop is consistently faster now that a solid state hard drive replaced my previous hard drive. I am totally impressed with the laptop now that it has this new hard drive. I would recommend it to anyone.

The Samsung external ssd drive is a good and economical way to add storage capacity to your computer. It is important to note that this is an ssd drive and generally more dependable and faster.

Made my laptop 100% faster. my old Harddrive was going bad and causing my computer to take 10 min to start up. now its 30 seconds from power on to windows log in screen.

Won a Chromebook in a raffle, so gave my daughter that and took her old laptop. It was Win8, so I upgraded to Win10. Super slow until I reinstalled it on the SSD. Now starts in seconds and runs much faster. LOVE IT!

Bought Samsung because I have read that their traditional hard drives are the most reliable. After a year in daily use (all day), this one has not failed me.

Much faster boot in my older laptop. Made me go from wanting a new laptop to running it a couple more years! Boot time went from 1 min and 16 seconds to 14 second boot up.

It didn't take long when using the ssd to download music, video, etc. It only take few seconds to get it done quick. Also for gaming, it too didn't take long when loading some games you play (especially the games of 2018)

These Samsung 860 EVO 500GB drives are the best investment for speeding up older and newer PCs! I have installed many of these drives and I have not any any issues with any of them. Great job Samsung!

Solid State Drive at 500GB is better than a typical drive that is 1TB. The memory is less but there is improvement in speed overall from starting the laptop to opening the browser.

This has been one of my best investments, my laptop run alot better now and faster, im not concerned about the weaknesses that come with hdd and can focus on the job at hand

Geek Squad gave me options and when I needed more help and had one more question, he answered so quickly and it helped me make my final choice. It has been good in my laptop.

Information loads much faster and boot times greatly improved. I will be replacing any future computers hard drives with these. Standard hard drives are better for back ups.
