I upgraded my old hard drive with this SSD. The upgrade was flawless using the Samsung Data Migration software. The performance improvement was like getting a new machine.

I bought this to replace an old HD in a laptop. I've bought a few Samsung SSDs in the past and have never had an issue. I love that the laptop boots up in 30 seconds vs a few minutes with the old HD.

Works better than expected. Made my old laptop as fast as my new laptop. It is NOT 500GB when nothing is installed but that's ok. for the price on sale its worth it.

For only $90 you really can't beat it. Does the job, good boot speed, plenty of storage, and affordable. No cons.

Samsung - 860 EVO 500GB. I have been buying only Samsung products for a few months now. This and the other Samsung products I've owned over the years are always dependable and have worked flawlessly.

The drive is fast. I usually buy these drives and never have problems. The cost is great and anytime I need to replace a laptop or even a desktop drive I buy this particular one.

I'm a huge fan of building my own computers, and as such I've gone thru a few hard drives in my day, but I have to say this one of the BEST Drives out there!!! Not one single issue since buying it!!

Replaced my old crushed SATA Drive with Samsung - 860 EVO 500GB. Huge difference in performance. Had a hurdle trying to re-install OS. The solution was to reformat hard drive to an older system.

This sped my computer boot time up incredibly fast. I can’t believe the amount of time it took off of startup and the time it takes to access files. Great product. Would recommend to anyone.

Samsung SSDs are just pricier, but you do get more for your money as well. This drive uses some of its storage space for caching so you won't see 512GB or even 500GB. But it does have DRAM as well, which is important in performance. It is one of the fastest "budget" drives out there. I have owned many different brands of SSDs, but I always come back to Samsung because they just work and even a mid range model like this performs very well. I get over 500MB/s sequential read and write speeds. It definitely increases the boot time of my Thinkpad T430 and I know that I don't have to worry about.

Still the best brand of SSD. Using this one as the boot drive on an old system that does not have m.2 ports. Probably would go 1TB or more if for storing games.

I put this 860 EVO into my wife's aged Toshiba C655 laptop, running Win 7, and maxed out with only 4GB of memory. It loads everything quicker and it was an easy install using the Apricorn SATA Wire 3.0.

Older Dell desktop at church was slow even with Good memory and processor. Replaced 5400 rpm hard drive. Massive difference in boot and application speed. Worth every penny.

These drives work great and I love the Data Migration Wizard for cloning Hard Drives. They perform well and make a big difference when replacing standard hard drives.

My computer is a lot faster after i put this SSD I highly recommend putting a SSD in any computer everything will go a lot faster especially opening an app and booting up computer

I bought this for a laptop that was taking a LONG time to boot! Boot up till usable time appropriately 3.5 minutes, now boots up in around 50 seconds. Don’t think about it just get it!!!!
