It's the easiest speed upgrade for older Macbooks. In my situation I swapped out the hard drive in my mid 2009 Macbook Pro 13" and it now boots up more quickly and is now usable.

Changed out my malfunctioning hard drive with this solid state drive. It works great and my computer boots up lighting quick! Won't ever go back to a computer with a hard drive again.

Great replacement drive for low end laptops. It boosts performance by quite a bit over the older (read cheaper) platter drives that come in a lot of lower end laptops.

Took and older laptop replace its hard drive with this. Boot-up time and all over speed went up way beyond what I expected. Like having a whole different lap top without the cost of a new one

I had the previous model of this and it is still going strong after a few years. This one seems a little faster and hopefully will last as long. I'm going to buy another for more game installs.

I was purchasing intel drives until they stopped including the migration software a few months ago. I installed 2 of these with no issues. Working as expected.

I replaced a failed mechanical Toshiba drive in my 2010 MacBook Pro. The replacement procedure was flawless, and has, so far, been working amazing. It sped up my old machine quite a bit.

Super fast, plenty of space unless you game a lot and need to install large game files on it. Replaced a failing Intel SSD and the speed deference was actually noticeable.
