I like this SSD so far. Ive had a few problems with my past SSD which was a seagate firecuda. this has performed far better and was cheaper.

This ssd is for my fps games such as call of duty where fast load times are important, that being said this is 1000x faster than any spinning hard drive !

I was a bit skeptical that this SSD would work as well as the HDD I have used for 5 years in my Dell PC, but it loads much faster, which is the reason I decided to go to SSD. I believe it will last longer too, since there is not spinning disk and drive to wear out. I wanted to catch the HDD before it "bit the dust", since I understand that all HDD's will after several years. I seem to have accomplished that. I still have my HDD in case the SSD goes bad, but I don't expect that to happen. So, my review is that "it works well, and loads much faster". Glad it installed the Samsung SSD.

Upgrade from a hard drive to ssd this one here give me a lot of speed and fix some problems of laptop freezing out of nothing... Pretty good and fast product.

Upgraded my standard HD to the Samsung 860 EVO. My Windows boot time went from over 4 minutes to just over 20 seconds (with exact same disk image). Couldn’t be happier.

What can be said about this drive that hasn’t been said... it’s a great price and an excellent product. Well built and reliable. Highly recommend!

I've only used samsung ssd's so I can't say how it compares to other manufacturers. I never have a problem with them. Don't forget to buy a SATA cable because!

I upgraded my 2011 Dell XPS 8600 and the boot time is now way under 30 seconds. Cloning the old hard drive was a piece of cake and I was up and running quickly.

I have bought at 10 of these hard drives over the last year or two and absolutely love them. They perform well and speed up these old computers to like new.

This is the boost you need if you’ve maxed out your RAM and still need more powah for your desktop. Amazing and not hard to install. Would recommend.

I have the newer cheaper priced SSD Drive 860 now. This drive runs cleaner, faster than the 850. Get this SSD drive installed in your laptop today. Don"t wait! You will be very happy.

You really don't need to have extra reviews for this kinda of products. Whoever doesn't use SSD and considers Samsung or any of the other major brands is just wrong. Perfect performance.

I picked this up as an experiment to revive my 2012 MacBook pro and it did the job. With 16gb of ram and SSD upgrade, the laptop tremendously reduced on load times.

Title says it all. Great drive for the money. Good reads and writes. Super fast boot up. Large file moving is nearly instant. As long as the reliability hold up, I’ll be very happy.

Geek Squad replaced the hard drive on my laptop and it’s like having a new computer for a much lower price. Works great and Geek service is superb!

My HP computer was two years old, I had the hard drive upgraded to solid state hard drive and up graded my Ram, now my computer is better then new, it was never this fast!

Solid 2.5 inch SSD. What more needs to be said? It may be a little on the pricy side, but it offers great reliability and performance.

Works well, best speed upgrade for any computer. If you are using a hard disk you need to update to an SSD. The performance boost is amazing.
