it´s a world of difference if you just change your old disk with an SSD. With little money you can upgrade your laptop and really feel the difference in speed and response.

I used this to replace a rotating media drive that was failing. Once the data was transferred the boot time was 3:30 compared to 15 minutes with the old drive.

Fast and reliable. I have always had good luck with the Samsung SSD. I have tried other brands and Samsung stands above the rest.

I bought this to use as a secondary hard drive install on a asus tuff gaming laptop!! Works great with no flaws!! Plus, got it on sale!!

I was skiptical that I could get this working but it was pretty painless though I was using my Acronis s/w instead of that which was included. System runs about 30% faster.

This Samsung EVO SSD is fast but not as fast as PCIE SSD. Recommended for boot drive or additional storage for fast access.

I have tried different SSDs throughout the years but nothing beats Samsung in quality, reliability and app support with the Samsung Magician.

Very good SSD at a reasonable price. However, I would recommend buying a 1 Tb if you plan on downloading A lot of games. 500 fills up quickly.

My hardrive was failing and was replaced by this one. My computer runs so much faster and so far I haven't had any problems. So far, would definitely but it again!

I have only had this hard drive for a short period of time but so far so good. I have noticed an increase speed in start up and opening of programs. Very satisfied

Purchased this drive to replace original platter drive in older Dell laptop. After backing up my data, cloned drive and then installed. Seamless transition. Much faster startup and shutdown. Have not noticed a huge improvement in program startup but I'm sure there is. TIP!!! Make your life easy... ONLY USE SAMSUNG'S DRIVE CLONING SOFTWARE! Called "DATA MIGRATION" Available on their website, name is in drive's documents, use search tool on Samsung's website to locate. Also, if using Windows, make sure to scan/fix your original hard drive with chkdsk before attempting data migration.

As far as sata ssd goes, I have no qualms with this unit. Literally meets expectations (which is seeming harder and harder to do) No surprises with this unit

Definitely I must have upgrade for anybody looking to make their systems faster. Plenty of tutorials on YouTube for specific systems.

Had picked up two of these because they were on sell . However they are much quicker then the sandisk that I usually get for computer work that I complete for clients.

I bought this as a backup drive for my Asus Q536 and removed the 2tb spinning 5400 rpm had to this along with a 1tb m.2 SSD great combo . Boot time if 7 seconds flat

I purchased this Samsung to replace the Crucial MX500 I installed two years ago. The Crucial died. I expect better quality and performance from Samsung.

Works perfectly with my ps4 pro. I have it plugged in via an external usb3 enclosure. Works immediately and no hassle. Very fast.
