I have bought many of these Samsung Drive. If you are still on a traditional Hard drive, you will be amazed how this will speed up your machine

It's a fast SSD. I've installed quite a few Samsung 860 EVOs, and never had any issues.

I had the infamous "blue screen" on my laptop and thought everything was gone...pictures, work, etc...Herman suggested several things that worked and the guy that did most of the work on it was TERRIFIC. He kept me posted on work needing to be done AND resurrected EVERYTHING!!! I paid for a One Year Warranty that was WELL worth the price and my final cost was MUCH LESS than I would have paid for a brand new laptop...THANK YOU AGAIN GEEK SQUAD!!!!

I bought this to replace a failing drive in my all-in-one touchscreen desktop PC. The PC boots noticeably faster and there is a slight improvement when opening programs vs. the original HDD. The 5 year warranty gave me confidence that this will last a long time and it comes with the ability to be encrypted. These are the 2 reasons I chose it, even though it was priced higher than similar capacity SSDs. Unfortunately, the encryption is complicated if this is the only drive for your computer and contains the operating system, and the online instructions are lacking. I must complain that this had the WORST documentation for any product that I can remember. It has a 2.5" x 3.5" booklet in multiple languages. The ONLY instruction in English is about a 2" x 2" section (4 bullet points) on 1 page in VERY small font that directs you to their websites. The instructions there are lacking if you are cloning your current drive to this one to replace your old internal drive. You will NOT need to adjust your BIOS for this, but the instructions regarding this are not intuitive. I have never replaced a drive before, but I was able to get the job done.
