Easy install, good performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I installed this in a new Lenovo laptop also purchased some weeks before at Best Buy. The most time consuming part was getting the laptop case open! Drive installed in 30 seconds, I had downloaded the Samsung Magician and Data Migration software first on the existing laptop hard drive. Then used an external USB hard drive connector and hooked the Samsung up to it. Data cloning took about 50 minutes for 100GB of data. Samsung has a good reputation and I have used many different types of SSDs, this is one of the best.

Lightning Speed Solid State from Samsung

The old HDD in this Dell model took f-o-r-e-v-e-r to boot and start apps and perform installs. What a night/day difference this Samsung SSD has made. Quality seems great. Review from various online sources were nearly all positive. Still not 100% trusting SSDs for long-term reliability. But, in the computer world what's "long term"? Don't hesitate to buy this SSD.
