The Bose 700 5.1 surround sounds better regardless of less channels, but for the difference in price the Samsung 950T is a no brainer. The Samsung lacks mids, but the highs and lows are good.

It took 3 of these to get one that works perfect. Could have been an issue on my end but the one I have now is amazing! Great surround effects!

The quality of this sound bar is top notch. And the subwoofer is a must with this sound bar. I would highly recommend this sound bar and sub woofer

Love this system. It is very immersive in the sound and everything from an action movie, to a concert, to my phone playing music sounds great.

I didn’t have a problem with it at the start and I have updated the firmware after 2 days of purchase on my first one and started hearing static and distortion from rear speakers. I have done all the troubleshooting and even called up Samsung customer care and they asked me to send it back to them and it would take 15-20 days for the repair or replacement. Fortunately I had Best Buy return policy and returned it and got an other one. Guess what this have the same problem and I have done the troubleshooting again and it is working fine at the moment , but I am pretty sure that the problem will arise again. If it does them I am going to return this one too. Pretty much upset with Samsung , after paying HE** lotta money and facing this issues. Will go for Sonos. I would be happy if anyone could assist me with the rear speakers problem but I guess that has something to do with the software update. Please wait for few days and read the reviews before you Buy this product. But when this works, you will love sound from it. So it’s a big lame shame from Samsung to release this in hurry with out a proper app and display on the top.

Decent soundbar. Could be better with Dolby Atmos.

The sound bar is great, no issues and the setup was fast and painless and the sound is very good.

Bought this and the Nakamichi 9.2 to compare. I do like the wireless speakers but the sound cutout from time to time. In terms of surround, the Nakamichi’s dual subs and two extra surround speakers is significantly better. As far as atmos height effects, both soundbars are comparable, I can hear stuff flying over my head. Not sure why Best Buy doesn’t have the Nakamichi to listen to in stores. My purchase decision will be a whole lot easier. Just need to box up the Samsung for return. The box is a bit difficult to move around.

The ultimate sounding soundbar. Expensive but worth it. I have it paired with a samsung q90t TV. The back speakers are with the upgrade.

Wanted to simplify my audio setup from a home theater system with receiver down to a soundbar. Reviews made it sound like this might be comparable, but in the end, soundbars can't even come close to a dedicated 7.1 home theater setup with a receiver and quality speakers with a subwoofer. I should have expected that, but was disappointed in the outcome.

I watched and read many soundbar reviews before purchasing this one. They all rated this very highly and their top choice was either this one or the Sonos Arc (get that instead). Having a Samsung TV, I figured it was good the keep everything in the family, so to speak. I bought this online without listening because there wasn't one in stock near my house. I was greatly disappointed when I got this home and listened to it. There is zero separation, no sound stage, and the high-end bass is non-existent. The sound signature is completely flat. No separation, no sound stage. It sounds like the audio is coming from a single, mono-speaker in the front of the room. The only time I heard separation was when it came from the rear speakers. The bass in this system is completely unbalanced. The low-end bass from the subwoofer will shake the fillings out of your teeth. But I don't mean way; There is way too much low-frequency bass but nothing in the mid-range at all. Many of the reviews I read recommended the Sonos Arc and that was also the advice I received from the associate at the Best Buy store. All of my complaints about the Samsung were solved by the Sonos. It sounds absolutely fantastic.

Great sound. Not too difficult setup. Easiest with a Samsung unit, but for Atmos/DTX it’s best to have a TV with eARC.

I love this sound bar! It’s really powerful, so the subwoofer can’t be directed against the wall. Also, the voice recognition feature always goes off at random times without me saying “Alexa or bixby!” Maybe there’s a sensitivity option I can adjust?! If not, it needs to be available. Apart from that, I got the Q800T to pair with it but haven’t tried the Q symphony feature. Great buy!

Be sure to do a comparative demo before purchasing. See if Best Buy will send someone out to determine placement and recommend best system for you.
