We went with the electric dryer since the house does not have gas. It is well balanced even with large loads (we have it stacked on top of washer), it dries quickly and has a warning then a final beep. Nothing better to ensure you get the clothes before they wrinkle. If they do, hit the wrinkle free cycle and your clothes are ready quickly.

Samsung has really thought out this dryer. Huge capacity for households with lots of family members. Along with the huge washer, you can also dry lots of clothes, towels, jeans, blankets, sheets, or pretty much any everyday item you would wear that needs to be washed.

Huge capacity, and user controls are very intuitive

I must say that our new Samsung dryer is most amazing. It senses the amount of moisture in the and the size of the load and automatically adjusts time time needed to dry the items in the drum. I was very impressed with how this machine handles each load of bedding, etc. I am also extremely pleased with how quiet this machine is. We can not here this dryer running while sitting in our kitchen or great room, have gotten up to make sure it was working. Now I just listen for the music chime to announce that the cycle is complete. So many features with this machine. A great value for the money!

No Cons that I can think of ! Lots of drier settings to choose from. I love the fact that I can put in our huge comforter with plenty of room to spare and it actually dry completely after only one run. So far it appears to be saving me A LOT of money on my electric bill compared to the 15+ year old drier.

This is the top rated appliance by Consumer Reports and I do use CR as a guideline. The appliance worked immediately and is the easiest to learn of all the appliances we have purchased in the past 3 years. We have replaced most of our appliances in that period. Talk about timing.

This dryer is great! Our clothes come out the way they should, except once one of my wife's tops came out damp after she tried doing the wrinkle release, this might have been user error. The capacity is great for our extra large bedding. We love the extra settings.

We wanted a good washer and dryer set with a large capacity. This dryer just like it's washer brother is huge. When your clothes are finished drying it plays a happy song to let you know. Silly things like that can help you feel better about a high-end purchase.

I did a lot of research on washer and found these to best satisfy my requirements, large capacity and clean clothes. Feedback from owners, which was favorable, on several different websites were also considered before buying.

Bought it with the matching washer, the steam works so good, I use that to refresh my clothes mostly. Unit is huge, almost didn't fit the space I have.

It was a little more then we wanted to spend, but it is a great dryer. It is just huge comparable to a laundymat dryer. The a team setting is a little tricky to figure out.
