I purchased 2 Samsung - 950 Pro 512GB Internal PCI Express Solid State Drives for my Gigabyte Gaming G1 motherboard Skylake Z170 systems and RAID'd them to created a 1 TB boot drive. Besides having the storage I needed for multiply Virtual Boxes (Windows 7, 8.1, 10, Android, and Linux OSs), I increased my SSDs performance to 2892 sequential Reads and 3055 sequential Writes and random writes to 162439 using the Samsung Magician performance benchmark. My Intel 750 series 1.2 TB SSD received 2567 read and 1419 write. The Samsung 950 Pro SSD has changed the landscape of system performance on boot times, software loads, game latency, video editing, etc. Fantastic addition to my computer system!!!

Need M.2 PCI Express 4x slot to take full advantage. Also, setting it up as your boot device can be a little tricky, (especially on a laptop). Just make sure you plan out ahead of time. Honestly though, if you're buying this you should already be aware of this. Pros: Extremely fast. Fastest single storage drive on the market for this form-factor at the time of posting this. Cons: I can't go back to any other form of storage.

I recently upgraded my motherboard and forgot that I was using a Samsung 840 Evo mSATA drive. I ended up picking this drive up along with a PCIe slot adapter. Install was easy and I was able to clone my install from the 840 evo using the latest Clonezilla live iso. 2.5GB/s reads, 300k IOPs! Very noticeable playing MMOs, no lag as player models load in while you are travelling around.

This is by far one of the smartest additions I've made to my gaming PC. Super fast recall, and much storage! Whole operating system and most of my games are installed on it and everything is instantaneous!!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO PLAY GAMES SMOOTHLY! Maybe even two of them in one rig :D

This drive was purchased to replace a PNY XLR8 drive which failed after a year. I paid less for this drive and it performs every bit as fast as the PNY.

Extremely fast!! This is the new era of SSD storage. Make sure your system supports NVME protocol though.

These storage cards are fast and energy efficient. Samsung tech support does not recommend them for long term storage if you don't use the drive much so they are not good for back ups. They are however excellent for applications and quick boot up. Windows 10 boots in less than 5 seconds. Install was simple. No instructions but, not rocket science. I suppose they would work in a rocket though.

This drive is fast and so easy to install on any pc with an m.2 slot or if you have a pcie card that has an m.2 slot on it. Depending on how you connect it you can get close to the seq read/write from 800 all the way to close to the advertised speeds. It really depends on how you are connecting this device in your pc.

Read several reviews before buying and not getting the speeds, Magician software doesn't do much, after speed test, it tells you, make sure your system is configured properly by consulting the OS optimization, you can't because it's greyed out and can't click it, then it says to run performance optimization, which says it's not supported by Windows 8 or higher, besides the price is cheaper elsewhere. It's a hassle to return or I would, should've gone with my gut and purchased the 850 Pro.

This drive works great. Easy to install and compatible on my Dell laptop. However, the adapter for PCI Express is still very hard to find, so if I need to transfer files directly from the drive, it's still challenging.

2500MB/s and 1500MB/s read as indicated. Super fast drive.

This is a little costly but it's worth it. The read writes on this Flash is exceptional!

This is the best chip for storage ever. I got a read speed of 2225MB/s and write of about 995MB/s. I wish I had one more of these but no money. windows 10 Pro boots up in like 6 seconds.
