Windows 10 installed in 35 seconds. It was great!!

Overall good but returned since this one wasn’t being recognized in my bios so had to return. Now I have the 500GB and use a boot on my dell G7

Used as a boot and log file disk for a PC based firewall. No configuration or compatability issues with the BIOS, hardware, or software on MSI motherboard. It has ran 24/7 for three weeks. I will report back after comparing it to previous build.

NVMe is definitely the way to go - this "drive" at 240GB handles everything I've thrown at it with amazing read/write performance. Best part IMHO is that it doesn't take up the slot or space that a mechanical or even standard SSD does.

I love Super slim Cases see trough from both sides or all angles, 2.5 hard disk aren't pretty but thanks to technology now we have mini itx mobo's with m.2 build in, less cables more clean buildings make a beauty modern looking.

With a new build the motherboard supported an M2 drive. Cost was a consideration so we used the 250GB version knowing this drive is only the boot drive. Plugs into the motherboard almost like ram. Installed a 2nd regular SSD for the programs to install to. Now I dont know if it is actually faster than just installing an SSD. It does not feel faster for bootup however I wanted to try it. Now next time I would probably just install a regular SATA Samsung SSD. At least until the price comes down on the M2.

Moved my OS to this drive using the Samsung’s free migration software. Boot ups are a lot faster and smooth. This is a no brainer if you are using traditional hard drives.

This worked perfectly in my laptop. It doesn’t come with a tie down screw. Had to steal one from the case.

I bought it after realizing my laptop couldn’t support it. The friend I gave it to really appreciated it. Make sure you laptop can support first.

Had this for a few years as my main windows operating system storage drive and it works perfectly. The health of it is still good.

There’s nothing wrong with this drive. But despite the advertised advantages in read/write throughout, there’s no difference in gaming between this and a sata2 ssd. Maybe that’s my fault for not understanding the purpose of this drive? Wish it came with its own standoff, I had to fish one out of the motherboard box.

This is a big help to my laptop, it helps to boot fast and navigate my laptop.

Since installing it it has been really helpful in terms of speed

I have had this a week and it's crazy fast, my boot times are under 20 sec to desktop (it's crazy to think the 970 pro is even faster)

I used this to upgrade my Lenova Thinkpad that only had 32 GB drive, after watching you tube videos, now I have a usable laptop again.

great ssd, perferct for custom builds or having an os on it

From the moment my board accesses this drive windows and all programs associated are loaded and ready in about 7 seconds

Put this in my Alienware laptop and it’s still running strong. Best option for a start up drive!

This is pretty much as good as it gets for fast storage, maybe some cheaper options but samsung is trusted and reliable.
